Rude, unprofessional and don’t know what they’re doing. Argued with me about the design of the nails and refused to put glue on middle and pointer finger, I’ve been getting my nails done for 9 years and this experience was horrible, asked for a simple request and CHI refused to work with me, as soon as I disagreed she was rude and told me if I don’t want the nails how she wants to do them she can just take them off. On top of my pedicure was terrible lady couldn’t even paint my toes without putting polish all over my skin did not do the whole process with the pedicure I had a bracelet on my ankle I asked her to please be careful of it and if it was in her way I would take it off she told me it was fine. The regular pedicure usually comes with a scrub and massage with lotion, scrapping of the feet and a hot towel. The lady only did the scrub and put lotion on my feet and legs then proceed to grab a cold towel and rub my legs super hard. I’ve been here before and have had good experiences but never had an issues with the design of my nails as soon as I said something the whole attitude of their services changed. I scheduled my appointment with Chi because I have an extremely important event that I wanted my nails done perfectly for and usually she does the best work. When I get in she tells me that I have to go with somebody else that she can’t take me and then a random customer walks in asking if anybody has time for a walk in for a full set and chi decides to take this customer right in front of me. As I go on with Liam, he is rushing and I have to ask him to fix the shape of my nails at least four times. They weren’t even across nor were they straight on the sides. The worst part was I got charged $120 for this set. It has been 3 days after my appointment and I have already lost half of my rhinestones and I am leaving for my event tomorrow. I will never go back to this salon again, not only were they rude and disrespectful but the rhinestones don’t stay on and they overcharge. I always look forward to having my nails done now for my one special event in the whole year my nails are already falling apart and it’s just really sad. Chi nail salon in Reno, NV is my favorite nail salon to go too. Apart from the amount of good reviews I’ve read about; getting my pedicure there was such a lovely time. The staff provides excellent customer service, the person who did my pedicure was very sweet! Kept asking me if I was comfortable, if I wanted some water or a mimosa 🤭. The salon is noticed for its clean and well maintained environment, which just adds to the experience. The salon is a little bit hidden but I think it adds charm! Makes it feel like a hidden gem! I also appreciate the variety and wide range of options they have whether it be designs, preferences in styles. From basic manicures and pedicures. Personally I just feel well taken care of, other places everything feels very rushed and not attentive really to my personal liking.
