mom used to be not into vietnamese food until my step dad started taking her here to break her out of her weird shell. after he died and i moved to reno to be near her, she started taking me here, and as the years went on, and i am all by myself now in reno, i still come here monthly for sit-down, and get take out probably once a week. it helps that the food here is the best Chinese and Vietnamese in Reno. I have a lot of experience eating at all sorts of Chinese restaurants over the years, and this place ranks in the top 2 of all time. great friendly service and employees, and the food is the best i have tasted in years. I especially love the ginger beef with scallions, and the orange (peel) chicken. Don't go to Panda Express, go here. Someone i was with forced me to go to Panda the other day as they said it was cheaper, and after we both had stomach problems for hours afterwards, he agreed that food cooked at a real restaurant like Chopsticks is infinitely better than the crap they serve at a cafeteria like Panda. Good service with very friendly staff. My reason for giving only two stars would be because the food was super bland and not impressive at all. I went with my 4 other friends and we got two different dinner combos. I think one was the silver chopsticks combo and the other one was the first listed on the menu. The wonton soup was pretty good, but other than that, we all felt like our food was super bland. The wrapped chicken we got was wrapped in tin foil and the foil was stuck to the chicken and falling apart so you couldn’t eat that without eating tin foil. Maybe we were unwrapping it wrong but none of us could figure it out. Also one of us got some breaded chicken of some sort. I forgot what it was called but it had 90% breading and 10% chicken. It was basically no chicken. We were pretty disappointed but nothing against this restaurant or the ones who own it. It was a nice, clean place with good...
