Las Brisas Park — Attraction in Reno

The only thing about this park is if you go it's better either early morning or in the late evening as you will be blasted by the sun the while time. There are benches with shades but the shades sadly don't help unless it's eve8ng or late evening. But there is two misters that mist you with amazing cold water and just the perfect "quality"??? If that's the right word to use lol. Basically the misters will sve you no matter what time your there in the summer heat. The play area is good for even smaller children but the bigger playarea does have a hole that leads down to the ground via ladder in the middle so I'd make sure to just keep an extra eye on them. It's artificial grass for the Olay area but has trees, the smell of the lavender will whip past ever so often. There is a basket ball court and I think a little skate park if I am remembering correctly. There is also the mountains right behind the park so you can go for a hike if you want up peavine. I love this Park I used to live right up the street and we would take the kids here all the time when they were little. We would walk through the desert area, they would play in the rock wall and playground while we sat under the pavilion area with picnic supplies enjoying the weather. It's a very clean, cozy park in a safe and quiet neighborhood. This Park can have busy days if a party is being held here which I have seen alot but that's during summer months. Have...

Nice local playground and skate park that we enjoy frequently with our little boy. The water misters are refreshing. I'd like to see a shaded bench or two at the skate park like the playground area so we can enjoy watching some of the amazing skaters.
