I don't honestly understand the hype about this place! The donuts are just too sugary and average and the variety is not amazing. A great Donut shop DOES NOT solely rely on sugar to make things appealing and delicious. That''s my main point. I would give 4 stars (they deserve 4) but the over the top hype about this place convinced me otherwise. Don't get me wrong, I have got donuts here several times and kinda liked it but its not at all the best in Reno. Its Good. Regarding the answer: That is exactly my point. If you have to (MUST) get the plain Donut if you don't want too much sugar, that's bad. It shows low variety and not exceptional quality. I like sugar, who doesn't but too much sugar, No. I like a variety of donuts that are not too reliant on sugar to make them delicious. Of Course anything with too much sugar is delicious, the art is making Donuts that DONT DEPEND on too much sugar and still great. Donuts are my favorite snack, and don't get me wrong, I love your Donuts but its not at all as good as advertised and hyped and too sugary except the plain which is my favorite...
Read moreUpdating, they did change their ingredients but apparently it's impossible to find out if there is an ingredient in a few particular donuts. They lost 5 stars, and 5 weekly, regular customers. That's a drop in a bucket, clearly, population growth in the area is an automatic sales increase. Bye!
No No No No more. vvvv They were kind enough to respond to a message inquiring about ingredients for allergy purposes (deadly ones). We can only hope they don't change their ingredients! The service at all 3 locations has always been kind. Their donuts taste soft and delicious at 5pm or 5am at the locations. Their apple fritters have the perfect outside "crunch". One location seems to run out early of particular items. They've held a few items for me when I called and they were almost out! Wish all the locations had drive through and wish they offered coconut milk for their coffees. Best donut place in...
Read more2 times in a row I have bought a croissant that is under cooked! The first time was a couple weeks ago when I got a ham and cheese croissant and the bottom of the inside was raw and had a horrible uncooked-yeasty dough smell. I just picked up a plain croissant 30 mins ago thinking maybe it was just the ham and cheese kind that had the problem but this croissant was still raw on the inside! Definitely less raw than the Ham croissant but still, it was bad enough that I gagged and had to throw it out :(
*added a star to my review because I also picked up a blueberry croissant and just got around to trying it and that one is actually cooked and tastes pretty good. Does not completely make up for the previous though. They...
