This experience was terrible. There is distaste but no exaggeration. Entered and stood looking at a young kid for 2 minutes before he asked what we would like. We thought he was doing a task or would have just ordered without being greeted. This whole restaurant is run by kids with no form of management, structure, or guidance. They had four kids on break at the same time eating dinner with 8 of their friends. One kid on the line trying his heart out to handle the massive rush. One young girl on register who did not know what was going on. One kid walking around aimlessly sweeping random parts of the store with no dust pan. Three guys, I guess you could call it cooking. They were out of everything we wanted. Honey walnut shrimp, king pao chicken, black pepper chicken, and super greens. When we tried to order these things there was no information given, no ohh itll be done in x amount of time. They simply slid the box down the line to the girl who had no idea how to handle this situation. Finally when she checked the bin the second time for time frame to the cook, she was responded to with disrespect from the cook who was obviously overwhelmed and embarrassed. We settled on orange chicken since we were standing at the register with two half filled boxes of food and 20 people waiting in line. Absolutely the worst mismanagement and poor customer service I have ever seen. I would be embarrassed to say I worked or was affiliated with this...
Read moreI was returning home from a vacation with my family and happened to stop at Panda Express for food. Manager Raven, seeing my six-year-old paralyzed with indecision, went for a sample of Teriyaki chicken for him to taste, correctly predicting his preferences. She was both kind and efficient as we were in somewhat of a hurry to continue our lengthy road trip. Her helpfulness and quick thinking really helped my family's trip stay positive despite a long, long day on the road.
Our cashier Sophie, was cheerful, helpful, and above all else, honest. She realized something hadn't rung up correctly, double checked the order without being asked, caught the error, and corrected it, all with a genuine smile on her face.
It also helped that the food was tasty and I was able to feed my large family, some of whom have special dietary restrictions, for less than it would cost me at other comparable fast food franchises like McDonald's or Taco Bell.
The facilities were clean and smoke free which was a big plus for me. I travel through Reno about twice a year and I plan on returning to Panda Express next time we're in town. Thank you for the...
Read moreThe staff here need to realize that all customers should be treated the same. If I'm delivering their food, I have a schedule to keep or I can lose my job and get rated for their conduct as if it were mine.
For whatever reason, I was ignored when I first came in, and then when asked the name for my order, I had to repeat it to Three different people over the span of 15 minutes. I watched as at least four people who entered after me had their order taken and made. When enough was enough, I asked for an ETA., Stating that I had another order to deliver and would need to leave if it wasn't ready. The lady in charge had the paper for my order on the wall and decided that she needed to take care of the other customers in front of her first and told the girl 'five minutes' without even a glance in my direction.
I've never had this type of treatment from any of the other locations in town and they weren't even all that busy. Everyone has a bad day, so I'll give them one more chance at some point in the future. I love the food, but I won't put up with bad service and stress for the sake of a...
