Wendy's — Restaurant in Reno

I am never eating Wendy’s again in the Reno/Sparks area. I’ve tried it too many times at too many locations thinking it would be like what I used to normally get from Wendy’s.

This is the fourth Wendy’s location I have been to in the area where: the buns are stale the beef is dry the bacon is dry the food is barely warm the cheese is not melted and is dry there are 6 tiny pieces (quarter strips is what they looked like) of bacon instead of 6 strips of bacon, which is what I am paying for and why the Son of Baconator is $6.99 just for the sandwich. I can get an incredibly delicious, freshly made burger and fries at Denny’s down the street for $8.99, sitting down at a table where someone brings it to me, the food is hot and fresh, and I don’t get charged extra for dipping sauce and the fries are amazing, and the workers aren’t rude, unresponsive, or angry. It’s absurd.

I didn’t dare to get fries with the order since they have consistently tasted old, over-cooked, dry, just gross, at all the other Wendy’s I’ve been to in the area.

No thank you. I don’t know what happened to Wendy’s but it is extremely disappointing. If my expectations are too high so be it, but their quality in particular was drastically higher even just 2-3 years ago, and has always been better than other fast food; no longer. I would truly rather eat McDonald’s, which I’m not going to do since their food is almost as gross. Never...

I understand that there are staff shortages and things are moving slowly with a lot of companies. But that doesn't excuse the fact that the people who are left working are incompetent. I ordered a Dave's double with no cheese and no onions, but they put cheese on my burger. I don't usually get upset when people mess up my order because people make mistakes, but the fact that I couldn't go inside of Wendy's because their door was locked and they weren't answering the phone really irritated me. Messing up my order is one thing, but making it difficult to try and correct my order is ridiculous and short staffed or not there's no excuse for that. I recommend for everyone to make things at home for you to eat while you're out and about, because lately food has either been coming out cold and chewy...

I love Wendy's the managers there knows me cuz I live around the corner and I go there all the time but I was having financial difficulties cuz I paid all my bills and I asked the manager if she had any food that you're going to throw away it was closing time she gave me a bag of french fries and Nuggets thank you I think her I was really humble the atmosphere is really late at night between midnight and 1 in the morning so it's not too many people around so it was like different other than that it was okay and there's another guy that was up there and he saw that I asked the lady for food and he gave me $6 so it was a good experience that there is still nice people out there that will help you and not expect...
