I placed a phone order since their website charges a fee and I was still charged a fee! They never mentioned it on the phone how cheap what a money grab! I understand convenience fees for website upkeep and maintenance. You would think a business would like customers to schedule their orders or call it in because it's allows them to manage their orders. Managing a customer onsite and having to clean up their tables costs more. I don't eat out much anymore due to inflation and this fee is gross capitalistic greed. What next your going to start charging customers for walking into your establishment to place an order to go now too? The very least can this fee be after sales tax instead of making my sales tax higher because the fees factored into it? I'm not against raising the price of food to help the business stay profitable and keep the workers paid a living wage. What I'm against is this ticket Master style tacking on of the fees after the fact and not being honest and upfront. A lot of people are trying to do their best to still support businesses while managing their budget and yes $0.75 isn't a lot to one individual. However when you spread that across thousands of customers across all of their locations that extra $$$ cash grab. I get paying a fee to doordash or any other service or even a website maintenance fee, but to call in order and get a fee tacked on I just can't believe that's the world we're living in now. Food is still consistently decent no shade on that. I have ordered from here in the past through the website/phone and never had to deal with this fee I'm going to have to dig up my old receipt from email to show. So it's not like it's always been there I think they're counting on people not to notice. There are people who aren't very mobile and can only do curbside pickup. People who have children who don't want to drag all the kids/pets out and would prefer to place the order online to keep things simple. This extra fee penalizes those who plan ahead their to go order or have a tight schedule and can't eat inside. Update 8/2/24(2 years later) they are still charging this fee even on drive thru! Wow ok people we need to complain to the state attorney general website for consumer laws to be passed for transparency have them published UP FRONT AT THE DRIVE THROUGH. Or let's abolish these bogus fees.

Were there 1/19 evening bc my nephew wanted deep fried ice cream for dessert, and they do have a drive thru which i love/hate. We ordered dinner and his ice cream which they were out of so he switched to churros and they said ok but no ice cream on that either. I asked if they'd discount bc thats half the dessert and the woman said no, didnt give any alternative options (whip cream maybe??) or apology, just deadpan 'no'. He wanted it anyway so got that and cheesecake. The entrees were good but the dessert left quite a bit to be desired, no garnish, zero effort. And i gave one woman money, $50, and she never came back with change. Another woman who seemed very unhappy to be working gave us the food so i asked her for my change bc afterall, if im going to tip i want to give it to someone not just have them arbitrarily decide to keep it. She gave me a super dirty look, went and got it and i told her she could keep it and she shot me an even dirtier look, honestly, they didnt deserve any tip with the service bordering on rudeness. Ive worked as a server so know how important tips are and one thing i never did was ask people if they want change when they leave cash, its their cash and if they want to tip me that's their perogative not an assumption i should make and thats what asking for my change felt like, like they assumed they should get a tip esp with the attitude. The whole thing left me feeling they dont want my business and they wont get it, tjere are othrr good options closeby. As much as i like their food, our entrees were good, the churros were dry and tasteless just like the photo shows and its not worth being treated like its an intrusion for them to do their job

I went here after the Sounders won 5-0 to get the free tacos promotion for the first time in the years I've been a season ticket holder. They do not honor the terms of the promotion (soundersfc. com/terms-and-conditions/tacos) at this location.

I ordered 8 tacos (1 per goal up to 4 max per ticket per game) since I have 2 qualifying tickets in the drive-thru. First they complained at me that I was supposed to specify that it was for the Sounders promotion before ordering and second, they complained at me that I have to walk in to do the promotion and can't use the drive-thru. Neither of these two conditions are listed in the promotion terms, nor is there a single sign anywhere telling you these requirements.

Fine, I pull out of the drive-thru and go inside as they told me to do. I walk inside, present my two tickets, and they tell me that I need a second person with me, despite the terms making no note of that, and specifically saying that it is per ticket. I show them the terms, but they don't care. The workers tell me that they will only give me 4/8 out of tacos that they have already made, and bagged. They then removed half of tacos from the bag and gave me the half empty bag.

I've ordered a party pack of tacos from them before, but after this experience and their lack of integrity, I would much rather patronize any of the dozens of other Mexican restaurants that are on the same stretch of Sunset, and no...
