Not good for large groups. Food is great. We were celebrating something, so We had a large-ish group (15) which we made reservations for a week ahead of time. When we showed up at our reservation, the girl hosting acted like she didn’t know if they could do it. (They were not busy-maybe 2 other booths occupied). We ordered several pitchers of margaritas for the table (which we also checked ahead of time to make sure they could accommodate). When asked for marg glasses for everyone, I can’t even explain the girl’s response because I still don’t understand it. She asked how many glasses, I said one for everybody. She sort of cowered back and said, “15?” I could sense there was an issue, and after a little back and forth (she never told me why it was an issue, just acted like she didn’t know what to do with my request) so I kindly asked her to bring them for each person that wanted one (which was all but 1), but she seemed relieved by that response. They brought out the glasses (slowly), we eventually ordered another pitcher of margs, which I and two others from our party, independent of one another, said it tasted like there was no tequila in the last pitcher. Pretty sure we got ripped off.
Like I said, the food was great. The service was friendly, albeit very underprepared. We were not a loud or troublesome crowd. We were kind, tried to prepare them for our coming by giving them ample notice and even though each couple/individual had a separate ticket, we tried to make it easier on them by just doing marg pitchers and table apps so they didn’t have to split everything. But the service was still plain undesirable.
Might give it another try with just husb and me, but I’m not sure I even want to go back, between the service and the virgin margarita pitcher, I’d rather not give them more...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Casa Durango and it was a great experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the warm and friendly service I received. The staff was attentive and accommodating, which made me feel welcomed and appreciated.
The food was great. I ordered the Chicken and Beef Fajita, and I must say that it was probably the best Fajita I have ever tasted. The portions were large, and each bite was filled with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and expertly seasoned, making for a truly delightful meal.
The decor of the restaurant was decent, with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The restaurant was quiet on a Wednesday, which allowed me to have a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.
Overall, my experience at Casa Durango was top-notch, and I will definitely be returning in the future. The great service, large quantities of tasty food, and quiet ambiance made for a truly memorable meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a enjoyable...
Read moreMy husband and I decided to have a date night after a long day. I ordered chicken fajitas which were delicious as always. My husband ordered a chicken caesar which had no dressing, no cheese, and no croutons. We asked for the dressing, to which she brought a bowl to our table. A caesar salad should be tossed with the dressing. She was very short with us from the moment we walked in. We continued to eat our dinner while two female workers and a male worker were having conversation about how they didn't want to continue working in a restaurant, leaving to go to school, and this is the bottom of the barrel. This conversation was riddled with curse words as well. With both our most recent experiences being poor, we will not be going back.
I normally don't write reviews but I felt this visit was over the top with...
