La Fuente — Restaurant in Renton

Actually loved this place. Moved last year from Buffalo, this was the first restaurant we visited and was not a disappointment… However after today’s meal it’s over. My fiancé ate her entire Super Burrito, then turned the lettuce over to take a bite, there was a LONG BLACK HAIR under her lettuce!!! She ran to the restroom and threw up! Meanwhile my daughter and I were sitting at the table when our waitress passed by. I got her attention, and showed her the plate which in turn she showed the other waitress, and the cook who peeked from around the kitchen door. We then went to the front to pay the bill. After I told the manager what.had transpired, he told me sorry. I’m like “Is that it”?? He told me he would not comp the meal, and asked why I didn’t show him before she ate it? I said that she ate the entire burrito, turned over The lettuce, and found a hair! Again He refuses. Ok, left ZERO tip, told him I never leave reviews, but this is a special situation and I’m going to blast them on every review forum I can find! Now instead of eating the money for one super burrito, he will lose everyone...

the waiter was very friendly and i loved the atmosphere, the christmas lights make it very welcoming. however, the hostess was not. as someone who works in the food industry i completely understand how tiring it can get. but she didn’t even greet us with so much as a hi when we came in. when she finally regarded us, she didn’t say anything to let us know that she was taking us over to sit down, she just started walking down the aisle to a table and stared at us cuz we weren’t moving. i’m sorry it’s not my first instinct to follow an employee who doesn’t show any indication that it’s me she’s regarding. i’m not trying to sound like a whiny customer because she did treats others in the same cold manner. and i don’t know her side of things maybe she’s going through something or had a bad day, so i’m not trying to attack anyone. the food was pretty good, chips were really good. so that’s all thx for...

We ordered one dinner to split and it came out split for us which was a great surprise. We didn't have to eat off one plate. The waiter and waitress were nice and pleasant. We frequent this Mexican restaurant a lot and really like it.

Just wish they would bring back the Caramones Ala mojo (I probably spelled it wrong, sorry ) appetizer they use to have with the 1 lb of shrimp, loads of mushrooms, tomato wedges, avocado slices, that wonderful garlic butter sauce all around the plate and in the center bowl with the flour tortillas. That was a meal for two and then some.

They still have it, just as an entree, without tomatoes, avocado and 1 lb of shrimp. It was still enough for us both, just miss the added parts and presentation.
