I have had a lot of burgers in my lifetime and Red Mill Burger may be the best burger I've had, definitely worth writing home about and I've been around the country. If you enjoy burgers, this place is a must visit.
Lets get down to all the details: Pricing For a stand-alone burger here, it's going to cost over $10 easily. Add fries and a drink, it's less than a buck short of $20. Add a 15% tip and you'll be in the $25 ballpark. Add a side item and that's going to rack up the bill to $30 at least for one person.
Facility It is very clean and doesn't smell weird or look dated. The chairs and tables don't feel sticky or dirty. Of note, I also was the only dine-in customer there.
Food Refer to my food picture, the presentation is pretty cute. I wanted to try the fried zucchini and that was very good as it was hot, the breading didn't fall apart and was thoroughly cooked to where it was as soft as a fried cheesestick. The fries were crisp, not over seasoned and not remotely stale or cardboard tasting. The burger was superb and just something you have to experience for yourself. In addition, I found out from the staff that they do not use frozen beef which explains the phenomenal flavor.
Staff I ordered from the kiosk because it seems a bit obvious by where it is, they make you feel you can't or shouldn't use the counter. However, the person working the front of house brings out the order and also runs the register. Kind staff, thanked all the take-out order customers. Looks like one person works in back but also, I was the only dine-in person there.
Parking and street access Plenty of free parking. Just be careful of traffic because it is a busy area as it is off the main street, there are a few popular businesses in the plaza that bring in a lot of traffic.
Overall The price might be discouraging but once you try the food,...

My friend and I tried to test out a few different foods. We split a bacon burger and cheesesteak with fries. Then decided to add on some mozzarella sticks and chicken nuggets to see what they were like
Mozzarella sticks and Chicken nuggets were delivered first. They looked okay, but a bit light in color.
We both had a chicken nugget and the flavor was okay. Similar to a tempura batter. We each had a second and my friends was raw in the center. We then cut them open and it looked like 3 of them were raw in the middle. We then tried the mozzarella sticks and they were cooked, but not melted in the center.
We told them when they dropped off the burger and cheesesteak.
They apologized immediately, took them back to make them right and sent out new ones with extra fries that seemed okay. (We tried one chicken nugget, but were full)
Review on burger: solid burger, bacon was good, the burger sauce was similar to thousand island, so itâs a bit sweet for my taste, but over pretty good.
Review on Cheese steak: We left thinking, just go to Jersey mikes for a cheese steak. The meat was nice quality, but the seasoning was bland on the meat and the cheese wasnât melted in to the cheese steak. It was okay, but I wouldnât order again.
Review on Fries: If you like beer battered fries they are great! Good crunch, melted in the middle.
The could use a bit more salt and there wasnât salt or many condiments to be found. There were some sauces in the drink fridge to be used, but other tables had them and so they werenât available for us. Something to be figured out over time. Just growing pains in my mind.
Place has great potential so please try it. Tweak the burger as...
Read moreI like supporting small businesses but geez! Iâm almost certain everything on the menu is frozen to order. The hamburger have that distinct frozen hamburger taste thatâs way over salted to make up for lack of flavor. The tomato slices were a half inch thick. The fish and chips were definitely frozen and lacked flavor and the breading is thicker than the fish itself. I was hoping the tartar sauce was homemade and would make up for the frozen flavorless fish but itâs a cheap bulk tarter. The menu is so small so their is no excuse not to have fresh ingredients and homemade hamburger patties⌠if you opened a hamburger spot and use frozen hamburger for a $15 dollar burger thatâs theft in my eyes and just a lazy business makes me wonder what other corners they are cutting and what the kitchen looks like⌠Iâll be surprised if this place last another year⌠it doesnât take much work to come an hour before open and prepare fresh patties since thatâs the main dish. I understand some frozen sides but Everything on the menu? Stop being lazy and ripping people off⌠come buy a burger from cloud 9 down the street and compare it. Yes cloud 9 is pricey but at least has fresh ingredients with its own flavor and homemade sauces to differentiate it from other spots⌠I knew I was gambling when I looked at all the fried dishes on the menu but took a chance and me and my girlfriend both didnât care to even finish our food⌠One positive I guess the fries were alright since thatâs the only thing we finished.. oh and they gave me an extra piece of fish that we chose not to eat it...
