I am very disappointed. I was supposed to have my wisdom teeth extracted by doctor Choi, but first I had other work I needed done to prepare my mouth for the extractions. I'm in a time crunch to use the rest of my insurance before the year expires, which I explained to the staff and dentist. I was also told I had to have the extractions done first before I could have the remaining teeth fixed so the teeth would not be damaged by having the wisdom teeth extracted. Because I was in such a time crunch I requested to speak with Dr. Choi on 12/13/2021 face to face first to ensure that he could extract my wisdom teeth in the office. He came back, looked over my xrays, spoke with me for about ten minutes and assured me he could do it in the office. So I did not take the referral to the oral surgeon. IF he would have told me right then and there that he couldn't do my extraction I would have had more time to contact an oral surgeon to have this procedure done. But that's not what happened. I showed up yesterday the 16th, had my cleaning and when it came time for me to pay for the oral sedation for the extractions the staff went back to talk to the doctor and told me that the doctor won't do the procedure because i have a history of depression and anxiety and am taking the depression pill DESVENLAFAXINE and the non Habit forming, non narcotic HYDROXYZINE for anxiety as needed, not every day. I was told Dr. Choi believed it would be too much for me. Even though I've been prescribed Valium and other anti-anxiety meds all my life. IF anything the doctor should be worried about giving Valium to patients who haven't ever had it before. I've never been discriminated against for having depression and anxiety. I was also refused the extraction even without the oral sedation, Telling me he the dentist cant do it in office and that i need to go to an oral surgeon. All because i take anti depressants??????? Why when I asked to speak to DR. Choi on the 13th of December to ensure he could do it in office did he not tell me then. Why waste more of my time and money just to refuse me in the end because I take anti depressants? I could maybe understand if I was just refused Oral sedation. but to refuse me all together was not right and unfair. Ive lost complete trust in this clinic and will...
Read moreI had an appointment on 12/5/22 I can also attach appointment confirmation emails. I find it funny the business is responding in a way that I was not a potential patient. I had a treatment scheduled with their AWFUL Periodontist Muskara. She was suppose to treat me but rather She asked me why I was âShopping for Dentistsâ I informed her on whatâs been happening and I just had bad luck lately with dentists and it was so difficult to find someone honest. She said well it sounds like to me you didnât give these dentists a chance to correct their work and I clearly asked her were you not listening ? Obviously she was not⌠No other words to describe her but rude, condescending, lack of empathy, poorest customer service Ive ever encountered in a dental environment. In the end she said â Iâll exam yoi but Iâm not going to Treat you because whatever I do I now you wonât be happyâ. The nerve of her âŚ. The way she talked to me was mind blowing and how she gets away with it is even more shocking. Donât come here people for periodontal therapy she will blame patients for whatever their going through. I hope this review will teach her lesson to be more professional and empathetic to patients that have not been having successful dental work done. I will be sure to go through every social media channel and warn everyone about...
Read moreI tried the Renton location once this year after having been to other sunrise dental location for several years. but I ended up not getting my service there during my 2nd visit today, due to rude staff, unprofessional office members and average dental service.
I checked my dental coverage prior to the second visit as my insurance information has changed. When I arrived there, they told me that I have deductible even though my benefit website indicated there were no dental deductible. I ended up waiting 30 minutes after my appointment time. I eventually tried to help the lady out who was checking my insurance coverage. That is when the office manager started to join the conversation by saying that I should be more patient. Rather than apologizing for the delay, she was almost to a point where she was yelling so I told her, you need to be little nicer. She would not listen nor she would apologize for the wait, but she kept raising her voice. That is when I told her I would have to leave if this continues. She said go ahead and leave. I waited another 15 minutes to see what Dr. Choi (dentist) would say. Instead of listening to the whole situation, after talking with the office manager, he appeared to be angry and said I should get the service elsewhere. He wasnât even willing to listen to what...
