Just horrifying. $57 for honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken with fried rice and 2 egg rolls.
The eggrolls were the only edible portion.
The shrimp were never de-pooped or de-tailed.
The honey walnut shrimp was gag-worthy. They were chewy, with strings of poop you could feel in your mouth, all with a fried hard tail you had to uncover because it was also coated in batter and fried. Nori Presto went with the LOWEST BIDDER HERE. The walnuts tasted like they were indeed made of walls. Stale as can be. Obviously had been thrown straight into the boiling oil and had come in some bag along with the breaded shrimp.
Orange chicken- meat in the chicken was the hard kind of chewy you don’t know if you want to shallow after about 25 seconds of mouth work. The coating outside was not crispy, it was smothered in a sweet sauce that soaked right into the breading and maybe had been there under a heater for hours like at Safeway (?).
I called and was very polite, explained the situation and my plan was only to ask for half of my money back. I would have taken a bag of eggrolls and an apology. I get it- times are tough.
The lady yelled at me in Chinese and then HUNG UP ON ME!!
I had even tipped them $5 for take-out.
Now I’ll have to go through my credit card company to get a refund.
Go to Kari Teriyaki by Doofers. The honey sesame chicken is phenomenal and...
Read moreI do not write reviews but I must say that my recent experience with Nori Presto is one to write a review about. I have to say, their Spicy Chicken Teriyaki is the best I have had so far. Today, I ordered ahead by phone. I spent 30 mins waiting for Nori Presto to resolve their issue with their card reader. The person ahead of me eventually left as there was not much being informed about the issue. The Manager/Owner was very focused on resolving the issue than updating the line of customers on what was going on. Eventually, the cashier lady felt that it was taking too long and as I was going to head out, she asked the Manager/Owner if she could just give the chicken teriyaki to me ($10 Order. give or take) The Manager/Owner respond with something around the lines, that he would not get a refund for that order. The cashier responded with "Can't they refund it for you." Most likely talking about the company that handles their credit card transactions. The Manager/Owner responded with "No." That was the end. The person that was in front of me had a $29 order that they missed out on and a $10 order that they also missed out on. I just can't believe that a mere $10 is much more important to that single Manager/Owner than his customers. Of course, this could have been avoided if I just had carried...

When I went back she picked up a phone, hold it on hand, I don’t care so I just ask her, can I get napkins and fork… she gave me I left. While I was in my car I saw her looking at my car while being on the phone talking, I guess she followed me. Sick women! I am...
