I love finding little gems by accident. We went hiking at the base of Snoqualamie Falls and we were starving so we figured we'd grab a bite to eat at the fancy restaurant at the observation deck. I won't even mention the name of the place because I'll never go back. I'll leave a review for that place a little bit later. I was intrigued that this restaurant has good reviews but not that many. We were famished from our hike. Luckily, there was only one other party there. We were greeted promptly and seated quickly. We ordered and as we waited I noticed there was a steady stream of to go orders. The food was delicious and came steaming hot and in an appropriate amount of time. My favorite element of this meal was how fresh the produce was. I loved the way my spring roll crunched with every bite and that peanut butter sauce is yum yum yummy! Plenty of parking and next door to QFC so I was able to pick up a sun and shade hanging planter. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Oh ... I hate it when you look at Google User's profiles and all their reviews are positive... makes you question the validity of the review so I do want to add one little teeny tiny negative thing about this wonderful 🍴 restaurant... the candy they give you at the end of your email... you know the one with the receipt..... they could use an upgrade...maybe like the Lychee hard candies that you can get at Uwajimaya or I'll even take a Andes mint from the QFC but butterscotch and the starlight? I felt like it was 1982 and I was rummaging through my Grandmother's purse for some spare change and gum. That's the hard candies that are always left at the bottom of the glass bowl because no one wants them. Ok but other than...

I’ve been on a quest for the perfect bowl of pho, trying 1-2 new places weekly and visiting over 100 pho restaurants. My criteria are clear: ingredient quality, depth of flavor and richness of the broth (it should stand on its own), garnish, sauce and meat freshness.

Unfortunately, this was the blandest broth I’ve ever encountered—it had the mouthfeel of oily tap water. While I’m sure their other dishes are excellent based on the reviews, I cannot recommend the pho.

Breakdown: • Broth Depth/Richness: 0/5 • Ingredient Quality: 4.5/5 • Meat Freshness: 4/5 • Noodles: 4/5 • Sauces: 3/5 (hoisin and sriracha available, but no fried chili oil) • Garnishes: 4/5 (excellent-quality bean sprouts—no yellowing, browning, or stringiness—plus lime and fresh basil)

The bowl was topped with fresh, thinly sliced white onion and green onion, and everything was well-executed except the broth. Without the broth’s signature depth and flavor, it’s hard to call it pho. You couldn’t drink this broth and identify it as such—it’s the backbone of the dish, and this one fell short. The hoisin and sriracha couldn’t revive the broth.

The service was nice, and I’d consider trying their other menu items based on the positive reviews. They also have a punch card, which is...

I haven't had such high quality Vietnamese food in Renton area since moving here. Location is plenty of parking. My favorites: -Calamari Satay it was grilled and was very soft and flavorful, just the perfect spicy for me. The sauce that came with it was the best however, too spicy for me, but the flavor of the sauce is the best i have ever tasted it just the spicy level is too much for me. I haven't seen this dish locally that is as well made as this chef! -Mango, Celtuce & Lotus Root Salad with Shrimp (contains peanut) this dish is very good except too spicy for my taste. i think i will order it without spicy next time it was excellent dish. Salted Fish Fried Rice was very good pork sandwich: the meat taste like BBQ pork but without the red color dye. I never that this type of BBQ pork usually it's like lemon grass grill pork. it's was spicy with the spicy pepper but i'm sure there are those who love spicy. -tofu sandwich: the tofu was stir fried i never had such well made vegetarian sandwich! there was no spicy pepper which is perfect! -combo vermicelli with is egg roll, grill pork, and grill shrimp, excellent -thai tea This is my new favorite...
