Shawarma Tiger — Restaurant in Renton

Let me tell you my experience with Shawarma Tiger. I walked in there and it was close to closing time, I think most of the workers were eating at a table and one of them had to get up to take my order.

Some people might have been put off by that but I wasn’t at all. The way they were enjoying that food told me I was in the right place at the right time.

They were friendly and happy to whip me up a hot shawarma plate with an organic juice. Both items were on point. The freshly grinded juice healed any ailments i was dealing with. The shawarma was hiding in the bushes for a minute but then pounced on my hunger like a majestic tiger.

We stopped at Shawerma Tiger for lunch since it was too far to go to the place we like and we were in the area. I have to say that the Shawerma is not authentic at all and tasted very much like curry, the gyro looked the same and the falafel sandwich had a very thick short black hair in it so we threw it out. The food was overall pretty terrible, I'm not sure why their sandwich was on a tortilla and not a pita. Very disappointing food, as a middle eastern person I'm always looking for authentic food in the area but this is just plain bad. it was absolutely phenomenal. Great value as well for under $10 got a huge gyro. I was still slightly hungry but i also hadnt ate all day and i can put down my fair share. My GF got the gyro plate which i actually preferred. as she bot the lamb and i got beef. it comes over a bed of rice lettuce and onion/tomatoes. Plus you also get far more sauce to go with it and like 4-5 smaller pitas on the side to essentially make some street taco sized gyros oppose to a burrito sized one with the normal gyro.
