A perfect stay! We are five adult girlfriends on a girls weekend and this place was amazing! Gorgeous views of the lake from the main living area and rooftop. Beds were soooo comfortable. Firm and soft at the same time. Yes lots of stairs, but that is necessary for the views! Half bath on the main floor was awesome and convenient for the space. We lounged at night on the rooftop chairs or in the cozy living room, grabbed some wine and cheese, and rented Sleepless in Seattle one night too. Can’t say enough great things about this VRBO. Very clean. Very safe. Wonderful kitchen stocked with plenty of coffee pods and a large clean fridge. Excellent location close to Pike’s Place Market and ferry boats. Even has a view of the Sleepless in Seattle houseboat. We rented a car and were glad we did. Explored Bainbridge Island and downtown Seattle, along with the space needle and Chihuly garden. Highly recommend the chef guided food tour of Pike Place market surrounding shops. Overall we had a fantastic long weekend and loved our morning views and cool morning walks down to the walking trail...
Read moreI enjoyed 11 very comfortable days at Cozy Country Cottage. The house is rather old (1942) and quite tiny (720 sqft). They’ve done a commendable job renovating and restoring this property, making it look fresh and attractive. The lock on the side door entry was confusing at first – but it’s actually quite simple and functional. (And the dead bolt re-locks on its own four minutes after you enter!) The cottage is adequate for 1-2 people, hard to envision more - the bathroom and 2nd bedroom are especially small. Not much room to put your luggage or its contents. The beds are firm and comfortable, but the pillows seemed too hard. The sheets and towels are of very nice quality. There are several outlets for your devices. (Also an abundance of decor - candles, vases of flowers and throw pillows – needs to be put away somewhere?) The kitchen is dated but cute, and surprisingly functional. Overall, I really enjoyed and appreciated this little house. And I would definitely stay...
Read moreWe had a great spring break in Seattle! Laura was super easy to communicate with and returned our messages quickly. The unit has lots of stairs which we actually really enjoyed. Bottom level has two bedroom, middle level has the master and the upper level has kitchen, dining and living room with the deck on the very tippy top. We didn’t spend much time on the deck, just checked out the views every day.
Beds were comfy. One advice — do bring your eye masks if you like sleeping in the dark dark. The outside lights stay on all night and make the bedrooms a bit in the lighter side.
Location is great although there aren’t many restaurants you can walk to. But they are just a short drive away so that also wasn’t an issue for us.
It was a pretty quiet neighborhood which we appreciated. The walk down to lake Union is short and the lake is so pretty.
We had a great time and would stay at Laura’s place again! Thank you again for sharing your lovely...
