I've been a customer of this location for 27 years and I will NEVER go back, this last time was unbelievable and ridiculous but the last 3 times have been insane but figured give it another shot, things and shifts change but it only got worse. They're always out of something or they just don't want to make it. Yesterday I went around 1:45pm went to order a couple of orders and the kid on the speakerphone was explaining something to me and some young girl decided to over talk and say for the future there is no more butter pecan it's being replaced with pumpkin, ok that's fine give me that oh we won't have that for 3 more days, ok not a problem give me the caramel. I drive to the window my order comes to $18.70 I only had a $100.00 bill and went to give it to the young man, and he says we can't take anything over $20.00 do you have anything else? No, I'm sorry this is all I have, now there's 3 of them at the window saying we can't take it per our manager, if they are not here so where is the person or manager in charge? If I wasn't picking up for others I would have just left the order all together. One of the young men says well we can take it for a tip though. I ended up using my debit which I did not want to do but since when do you refuse an order from someone paying with cash, middle of the day so there's definitely change, this was just the icing on the cake, thankfully Revere and surrounding cities have multiple Dunkin donuts so it's not too hard to replace but what is going on? Read moreIf I could give 0 stars to this dunkin I would. The staff is so unfriendly and incompetent. Made a mobile order through the app for drive through. I said I had a mobile order at the intercom and they told me to drive to the window after I gave my name(I wasn’t informed of any issues at this time). There was only one car at the window in front of me and idk what issues they were having but I waited forever. When I went up to window, they tried to give me an order that wasn’t mine. I told them I was the mobile order. They asked for my name (again). They told me they don’t have my order.I opened the dunkin app and read out the order number and address. They continued staring at me like I had 5 heads. I tried to show one of the women at the window my phone with the details. She said “I dont have my glasses.” HUH??? There was no effort to rectify the situation. I said “so what am I supposed to do?” She said “I don’t know.” I was too stunned to speak. There is one man that works there I forget his name - great personality & always working hard - I unfortunately can not say that for the other employees. Good selection of donuts and food. My favorite drink is the chai which is upsetting because lots of times they won’t have it in stock & I’m pregnant so I’m trying to lower my caffeine intake. Some kind suggestions (coming from a former DD manager from some time ago lol) : spend more time training your employees especially front counter & make sure to give them the time to do the virtual training as well. It’s helpful and will make a difference with timing and understanding how to make drinks correctly while making sure machines are also calibrated. The front line will go a lot smoother. And just making sure to order enough product vs. what you know sells at your store along with the necessities like napkins, it stinks when there’s no napkins in the whole building and employees have to give out paper towel pieces.
