Juan Pollo — Restaurant in Rialto

Their potatoe salad is the best, but when it's freshly made. It's a hit and miss lately. We did get a disclaimer from one of the employees lately. "It's very "sensitive " and spoils fast". Organic food does tend to spoil faster than non organic food. Not sure if their ingredients are organic or not, but we are talking about mayonnaise and eggs. I don't make potatoe salad so I cannot compare how long it would last. I know if you're a real Juan Pollo lover you know what I'm talking about. And it's not enough of a reason for me to stop going. When it's good it's really good. Just for today the food is a 4. Also, I hope I'm wrong but I think their seasoning of the chicken might have been altered a bit. Just in the slight of flavors. Bloomington location… Good food if you get someone who can be honest and professional. We Called before to find out if they were still open, so we wouldn’t waste time or gas. They said as long as we get there before 9:00 they’d take our order. We got there with time to spare and they had already locked the door and hid from us in the back. That’s really POOR customer service. They could’ve just told us they didn’t take orders after a certain time so we didn’t waste our time. And then after we were there at the locked door, an employee should have (instead of hiding) come to the door and said something like “sorry, we’re you the one who just called? We should have told you that we don’t take orders past a certain time.” Very unprofessional. We took our money...

I picked up dinner from Juan Pollo, and the restaurant was empty. I ordered a family pack, which comes with Rice, beans, and potato salad, torillas (flour/corn), and a choice of mild or hot salsa. I also ordered an extra side of rice. Service at the register was excellent, but when I was handed my food by the lady in the back, she was not pleasant, especially when I asked for lemons and serrano chilies. I trusted that when she handed my order, it was correct, but when I got home, I noticed my $5 extra med side rice was missing. Luckily, I don't live far from Juan Pollo, so I turned back and explained what happened, and they immediately apologized to me and gave me an extra large side for the inconvenience.
