Stater Bros. Markets — Local services in Rialto

Not sure what it is about this location.......the cashiers are consistently rude........they don't even acknowledge customers as they serve them.......in this case the female cashier doesn't anything but how many bags........I even said hi just to be ignored........I usually make note of the name of the employees so when I do a review I can mention them by name so that any manager that cares and sees the review knows where the weak spots are at there store but this one turns her name tag backwards so it can't be seen........totally unfriendly and rude......I guess that's the way they are trained now a days because it seems to be consistent at this location.......another incident a girl who I though was cool that was a cashier had her name tag partially covered by her shirt.......she didnt do anything wrong I just like to call the cashiers by there first name because Im there almost everyday........when I adked if I could see her name tag she refused and said I made her feel uncomfortable.........who works in public and feels uncomfortable because someone knows there name?.....thats just crazy.......then I talked to a manager about it and the manager said her name was Monicue........many strange experiences like that at this store.........all the other Stater Bros stores like in Fontana........very friendly and the service is great........no pne there has a problem with showing...

It was so bad tonight! The cashier was so rude and had her name tagged turned. Heavy set Hispanic woman. No customer service at all. Snapped at us. My mother and I kept our cool but I was so mad they way she was talking to us. We had several pricing issues. Jose O the bag boy just threw stuff in the basket. Putting eggs on top of two stacked water cases. We asked for two bags which we got but were charged for 22. When my mother went back she said " You got a problem?" Major attitude. She knew what she did and so did Jose O the bag boy because he couldn't stop smiling. I just don't know why she was rude. And even after all that my mother didn't even bat an eye. I'm upset the way she talked to my mother. I've been going to that store since I was a little girl. I've delivered mail to this store as part of my job as a Postal Worker. I hope I don't run into this woman again. I'll avoid her at all cost.when she was refunding the money she bent down and I could kind of see her name tag but I believe it's Lizbeth. Girl check yourself...

This is one of the stores that underwent a renovation recently. I like the layout. You go in and start at the right side end of the store,your sodas and other drinks,then your canned goods go in the cart first. You end up with your veggies and fresh meats on top of the cart,instead of being squished by the heavier sodas and canned goods. No stanky odors in here,either! My one complaint is their sale items. Usually they make you buy four or more of an item to get the sale price. But when you're on a budget,you just can't afford to buy four of one item! They should just go back to how they used to do it,the sale price is good even for just one item. That would be a nice break for those of us stretching...
