This is another one of my favorite places when it comes down to getting mexican sweet bread, tamales & champurrado. They have fresh coffe in the morning with freshly baked bread too. The tamales are great as well they have green chicken, red pork & cheese with jalapeños. The cheese tamales almost run out before the others do, but the green ones are pretty good too. The two ladys and the baker are very nice and quick at serving the people. Great quality on what they have and very good prices. I recommend the champurrado with a cheese tamal and a concha. But get there early because you might not make it since they do run out of champurrado and cheese tamales very early, they even make a huge pot but it still finishes pretty quickly. So, I struggle to give companies good reviews when they pull illegal activity. So I went in and they said they took cards. Got a few things and they didn't have anything posted anywhere that they charge a fee. When I go to check out I get told there is a 50 cent fee that my bank is going to charge me. California has a law, California Civil Code section 1748.1, that prohibits retailers from adding a surcharge when a consumer chooses to use a credit card instead of paying by cash. Went there Friday 08/15/25 around 11:30ish and haven't been there in a while,since I was I the area as a delivery driver and right away it was just the lady working there and I said good morning may I order a torta pls she said No ahorita no ay and walked away the put a tray of bread away as she's huffing and puffing like if she has to do everything around there..so I said ok any tamales she paused and said only the queso I believe so I said dang this early she termino los tameles and torta...I know for a fact they didn't want to do any more work than what she was doing...bad place being ran & Ran down be her I was goingto take some tortas 4 to go but...
