El Viejon Mariscos & Sushi — Restaurant in Bloomington

My husband and I were excited for the restaurant to finally open to try it out since we both love the food from the food trucks. Food is good but my 1 star goes to the lack of customer service from the waitresses. I understand the restaurant is new BUT come on the girls don't know what they're doing. They lack training. One girl sat us down and comes back with chips and salsa and just walks away. Then a second girl comes and asks "has anyone taken your order" and my husband and I say no so she starts to take our drink order and she suddenly asks "who brought you the chips" so I pointed the girl out so she says "oh" and she literally walks away without taking our drink order. My husband and I were about to get up and walk out but then a third girl comes to us and she asked if anyone had taken our order and I told her how unsatisfied we were with the service we received in the 15-20 minutes we were there. She apologized for it and because of her we decided to stay. Thank you Mikayla for doing what your coworker's couldn't do. Your service went above and beyond. Will we return? Probably not, I’d rather give my business to the nearest Marisco...

I usually order to go when they had the little car across the street The shrimp cocktails to go are really good. I’m not gonna lie. I just think they are a little over price. I didn’t mind to pay at the beginning but for the restaurant I don’t think that’s their business meaning that they take forever to get you started on your food and everyone is running around. You can clearly tell that no one knows what they’re doing that everyone is doing one thing here and one thing there. It took an hour to get my food The Carne They serve is nothing but a skin there is no meat and with the side of beans and for that price you can get way better and more in other restaurants for that Price and to top it off my foot when he came out, it was cold to the touch. I was so disappointed about the service and everything else cause I thought it was gonna be really good and my bill was almost $100.and the empanadas come with nothing on the side they usually give you like a sauce or anything like I said the restaurant was a huge disappointment...

I have bought sushi with this food truck in San Bernardino on highland since they first started here. I really liked it. But I don’t know what happened these last couple of months that the service has been so horrible. They’re not the same workers, these new workers are lazy and rude. They seem like they’re being forced to work or something. I ordered two rolls of sushi today, and the girl that answered told me they would be ready in 25 minutes. So I went to food truck to pick up order and the girl there tells me that my order was going to have to be cancelled because they have other orders that are first and if I wanted to wait I would have to wait over an hour more if not more! I am mad because why didn’t they tell me that from the beginning? And not they didn’t even give me an option to wait more or cancel. THEY canceled my order.
