01/06/2025: I just left about 20 minutes ago. I ordered a #8 Club for my mom without issue. I was asked if I wanted her sandwich dressed Mike’s way and I gave instructions on how to dress it. I also ordered a Big Kahuna Chicken Cheese Steak for myself and was not asked if I wanted it dressed. After the chicken, peppers, and cheese left the grill they were haphazardly thrown onto a bun, wrapped, and tossed in a bag. I was sitting at a table waiting, scrolling on my phone so I wasn’t aware of what was going on until the worker called for me (the girl from the grill, completely different girl who dressed the first sandwich). I looked confused and asked if the sandwich had been dressed? While standing at the register having not yet left the store, I unwrapped the sandwich and pointed to it not being dressed. The girl from the grill said I had to tell them beforehand. Why would I have to tell you I wanted my sandwich dressed when I’m always asked if I wanted it dressed, and if I I want it Mike’s way? Just like the first sandwich. Nobody asked about the second sandwich. Good customer service would have been correcting the issue in real-time by dressing the sandwich and rewrapping it. Instead, I was offered the items on the side, which I declined —because if I wanted to make my own sandwich I would have gone to Meijer behind the Jersey Mike’s and bought the stuff to make my own sandwich at home. It’s late, I just got off work, I’m starving, and now I have to eat a dry, flat, overcooked, sandwich. No mayo, no pepper relish, no lettuce, nothing! And then she had the nerve to huff at me as I was leaving because she saw me grabbing the manager’s business cards from the counter.
Update: 01/07/2025 I called the store this morning and spoke to Ashton/Catherine today and she was very empathtic and helpful. She tried to rectify the situation. I...
Read moreThis location has gone completely downhill. My family used to look forward to when we would get Jersey Mike’s for dinner. But the last 4 or 5 times, we’ve noticed a huge decline.
They barely put any meat on the sandwiches anymore! It’s just this location specifically. We go to two other locations, and we never have this issue. It’s to the point that last time we ordered from Flossmoor, we actually ended up going back out a few hours later and getting food from somewhere else, because everyone in the family was still hungry. A sandwich from here used to fill you up, but now it’s a joke.
Last time we ordered, it literally looked like they sliced up two thin slices of turkey, and one paper thin slice of cheese on my sandwich. It was 90% bread and barely any meat at all. Also, two people in the family ordered sandwiches with bacon, and the bacon was NOT fully cooked. Not a single person in the family was happy with their sandwich, and we all LOVE Jersey Mike’s. The first time it happened I thought, okay maybe it was a bad day or a new person making the sandwiches. But now, it’s happened 4 or 5 times in a row!!
Maybe someone needs to retrain the staff on how much meat is supposed to go on a sandwich. Because again, we don’t have this issue at any other locations...
Read moreWent to the flossmoor location and got the worst customer service, I could have been a health inspector and they would have not cared. I am allergic to tomatoes and told them before I was about to order and the guy changed his gloves, pulled out a sheet to prepare my food and I asked him if he could wipe the area and cutting board because he prepared sandwiches w/tomatoes on it prior to my order. He said I dont need to that's what this sheet is for. I said I was not comfortable with that. Another employee came out of the back asked what I needed and I repeated I have a food allergy which is tomatoes I would like the area where my sandwich will be prepared to be wiped off. She told me there's no need for that all he has to do is use the paper he's prepaing the sandwich on. I told them I wdidnt want to sandwich and she because I was not comfortable with that she said okay goodbye. I decided I still would like a sandwich so I drove to Frankfort(far from that area) where I got excellent service. WHY did I have to go out of my neighborhood to get...
