I never make posts about terrible customer service but this went too far. I am disgusted. Disgusted with the product, disgusted with the quality of food, disgusted with how I was treated and over all disgusted with McDonald'scustomer service. Earlier today, after having been at work and class, I went to the McDonald's in Olympia Fields at 2400 W. Lincoln Highway. As I was heading home I found glass....you read that right GLASS! At the the bottom of my fries. My father had to go to work and was not able to go back up there however, when I got home I caller McDonald's to let them know that I had found glass in my fries. They asked that I bring the merchandise back. Which I did do. I also called the corporate office to file a complaint. When arrived back at the McDonald's they manager came out and I told what the issue was. I asked for a refund and they explained since it was paid by card that is how they would have to issue it back with me. I explained my father paid and was at work, mind you he does not get off til midnight, which I explained. I was there with my mother and brother. My brother got too upset and the police were called. I asked the manger is there anything they could do, sobbing by the way, to give a coupon voucher or anything. She told me no. I don't want to even eat at McDonald's...so I asked if I could AT LEAST have an apology. She told me, "No". I said, "There was GLASS in my fries and I can't AT LEAST have an apology?" She told me, "No because they would be admitting fault." Still confused I asked, "What do you mean?". She said, "Because it was a foreign object found." May I please remind everyone that this was GIVEN to me from THEIR facility. I could not even get a SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!!! I met the police outside and my mother and I explained what happen. He suggested we make a police report. Which I am doing. I also re-contacted Corporate to update them on the situation. In my 22 years never and I mean NEVER have I EVER had this happen to me. I just wanted an apology and to get a refund later but now...NOW! I am looking into suing and will proceed with ALL the necessary steps. Below is a picture of the glass I found, please excuse the spat out bits from my disgust. And the picture next to that is the highly disrespectful, unprofessional, rude, poor excuse of a manager at McDonald's. I CAUTION everyone to NOT go near this McDonald's because you have no IDEA of what may be in your food. Unfortunately, I sit here hungry, because I STILL have nothing to eat and could not finish the rest of my food, because I was gagging at that point. I will never and I do mean absolutely NEVER eat at another McDonald's again. Please share this and be careful when you eat at a fast food place like this. You could potentially die in the process, leave empty handed, and have the police called on you. Be careful. Read moreI had an issue today with my order where two items were not sent by Uber yet charged to me. I called this location and asked for a manager so i could be walked through the process. When i asked was it possible to speak with a manager she replied WHAT DO YOU NEED. I said I’m sorry again I’m looking to speak with a manager if possible. She states again WHAT DO you need. I asked are you the manager and she states yes! ANGIE SIGNER is the manager and the way she spoke to me today was totally unprofessional. She talked over me. Wouldn’t listen to me. And told me my missing items was UBER issue not hers. Customer service goes a long way. And the money isn’t the issue NOW the principle is! You should not speak to people that way being in leadership. ANGIE there’s a lot you have to learn here and now i will contact corporate and take the time to address this interaction. Be careful because you never know who you speaking with and what platform they have. There’s several other Mc Donald’s so because if ANGIE we will never come to this one. Read moreI had a large order and was asked to pull in parking spot to wait. Employee bought my food out but I noticed 2 sandwiches were missing. He went in and bought the sandwiches back out. I almost made it home and noticed I did not have the 4 coffees I ordered and fries were half filled. I called and spoke with manger, I informed her of missing items and half filled fries. She told me if I didn't pull off I would have gotten my coffee and the 3 fries were half full because it was all she had left. Wow! I asked could I just pull to the window and get my food, she (the manger) says yes. When I get there (no cars behind me) she says pull up and park, well bring it out. I told her I didn't want to wait any longer due this experience already lasted 30 minutes. She then asked me to give her the fries. I told her you want to take the food back through the window, she says yes. I gave her the fries and ask for my money back. She takes my card and throws it back and tell me to move. Get home and guess what, She charged me instead of giving money back. Now I have to go...
