Imperial Biryani dining is “A True Taste of Hyderabadi Cuisine Experience”
If you're looking for an authentic Hyderabadi dining experience in Dallas, look no further than Imperial Biryani. I recently visited with family and friends after having an amazing Haleem experience there last week, and I can confidently say this place deserves a solid 10/10.
We went for the Iftar buffet, and it was an absolute delight. The spread was full of flavorful dishes that kept us going back for more. My kids especially loved the Haleem, which was rich and full of flavor. The Samosas were crispy on the outside and packed with tender filling, while the Chicken 65 was juicy and perfectly cooked.
The star of the show, of course, was the Chicken Biryani. As a Mutton Biryani enthusiast, I usually don’t expect much from chicken biryanis, but Imperial’s was on point—more than just a “pulao,” it was a proper, fragrant Biryani.
We also indulged in some other amazing dishes like Achari Chicken, which had a tongue-tingling zest, Veg Masala Curry that was flavorful and comforting, and Chicken Haryali, which was tender with a smoky finish. The Naan was soft and delicious, pairing perfectly with everything.
For dessert, the Gulab Jamun was sweet and satisfying, and the Shahi Tukda was crispy and delightful.
To finish the meal, I tried the Irani Chai. While I prefer my tea less sweet, my friends thoroughly enjoyed it.
Overall, Imperial Biryani gives you an authentic Hyderabadi experience right in the heart of Dallas. I can’t wait for my next visit, and I’ll make sure to take some pictures to share with you...
Read moreI came to this place keeping some good expectations in mind, first things first • worst service I’ve seen so far • and with the restrooms - one was if service and the other was out of hand soap - all the staff including the chef were also using the same restroom, I wonder how they are using it with out handsoap and going back into kitchen, when I asked this thing to the front desk lady, she responded with an odd attitude • we ordered chicken mandi and mutton juicy mandi, the chicken mandi came out with a fly in it, then we politely told them about this and she took the mandi back and told she’ll not refund the amount but change the rice, I asked her to replace the whole thing, instead of consoling the situation she made it worse saying the kitchen is good, something should’ve happened in the seating thing- THE HYGIENE THING SPEAKS HERE AGAIN!! I asked her for the refund saying I don’t need any of the replacement rice things and all, they behaved so weirdly and after some talks with her team they refunded the amount for the chicken Mandi.
I should say, this is not the tone you use to the customers and not that attitude you show as well, end of the story the thing happened inside the restaurant not outside so this will be your responsibility to handle it in a polite manner. Am not saying the food is not good but talking about the service and hygiene issues we are so much disappointed, we were travelling from Austin and stopped here for food, the mutton...
Read moreWe placed a to-go order on the phone. We were told the food will be ready in 15 mins. We reached the placed after 40 mins. When I entered the place it was absolutely empty, not a single table was occupied. The place looks a little cluttered especially near the ordering counter. Honestly I had no hope of the food being any good here.
We reached the counter and enquired about the order. We had ordered: Mutton Haleem, Garlic Naan and Chicken Biryani. The person at the counter looked confused and went inside the kitchen and came back out and told me to wait for another five minutes. We were told 15 mins on the call, at this point it was roughly 45 mins since we had placed the order. Had I had to wait there for that long, it would have tested my patience.
We proceeded to take a seat at a table. The seats were dirty. Not sure if they clean after a customer uses it. (Photo Attached)
After some time, our order was ready. The credit card unit was not working. (Video Attached)
Came home without any hope and to my utter surprise the Haleem was lip smacking good!!OMG it took me back to India, Hyderabad House. The garlic naan was also tasty.
Biryani was nothing to write home about. There was something rare about this biryani though, the meat was seasoned and cooked to perfection, the best I have had in some time. It’s the rice which was way below average. Very dry. It came with Raita and a gravy.
Haleem - 5/5 Garlic Naan -...
