Tonight was my first time going to Andalous at their Richardson location. My mom had gone here once when you first opened stating it was great. I was really looking forward to it. I WAS COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED!

First when we arrived, it was around 730pm on Tuesday evening. There were maybe 10 people in the restaurant. There were dirty plates piled up on several tables, for over 20 minutes. Looking for a clean table, many that looked clean, infact needed to be wiped. They were sticky or wet from plates or glasses. . Well, took my mom there tonight, WE. BOTH LEFT SICK TO OUR STOMACHS and lets just say visiting our toilets!! ❌The lettuce salad wasnt clean ❌The tabouleh was greasy ❌The turkish kebap(shwarma) meat was dry ❌The kebab meat tasted heavily of charcoal ❌The bread, the bread was not well cooked, burt outside and gooey or raw on the inside, cooked too fast in the fire oven ❌the babaganoush wasnt good ❌the hummus was sour ❌the dolmas were not fresh ❌the plates are below your waistline under the buffet and not very clean, right at level to touch peoples clothes, catch lint or skin particles. Not hygienic at all. Buffet plates should be placed above general reach. ❌ general freshness of food is not good after you start eating, even if it looked proper. ❌We both left feeling very sick, and sicker as we got home. ✅Bathrooms are clean, and there is soap

Having eaten this type of food around the world, and even your competitors here in the Richardson area. , Dim* , who’s food is not great, i was expecting greatness from you as well as your website. Dim is better, and I wasnt pleased with my last visit there, but its better than what I had tonight I was looking forward to a great meal and to discovering a great place. I will never go again, and definitely not telling my friends of any culture about it

Im truly truly disappointed and I should’ve asked for my money back. But by the time we were leaving, your cleaning crew started using Fabuloso, That smell on top of our stomachs that were starting to turn didnt help, so we had to leave.

Also i was parked in the handicapped parking next to an unlit Lantern, when leaving i noticed it had a constant clicking, i went back in and informed your employee at the register, to ask him if it was gas, and that it was clicking He had no idea what i was talking about. Then going back to my car, i noticed the gas line behind that light fixture. ...

My visit at the end of Ramadan for the final Iftar with my family was deeply disappointing and raised several serious concerns.

The first issue was the significant price increase—from $19.99 to $25.99 per adult—even though my previous visit was just four months ago. Such a sharp rise, without any noticeable improvement in quality or service, was difficult to justify. Additionally, the pricing policy charges adult rates starting at age 9 which makes dining there increasingly expensive for families.

The second—and most alarming—issue was the cleanliness of the plates and cutlery. The hygiene level was far below acceptable standards. I had to search extensively just to find a single plate I could use, and even then, I barely found one. This was particularly disappointing on such a meaningful evening. Had it not been the last day of Ramadan, and had my children not been fasting, I would have left immediately. I was unable to take photos due to how crowded it was, but the situation was clearly unacceptable. The condition of the plates was unhygienic and unappetizing, and raises concerns about possible health risks. I even had to ask my children not to eat the bottom layer of their food to avoid contact with the surface of the plate.

The third concern was the quality of the food itself. Several chicken dishes had an off-putting smell and an unpleasant taste, making them inedible. I always stress the importance of not wasting food, yet I found myself encouraging my children to avoid eating certain portions for their own safety.

Overall, the experience was far below expectations and did not reflect the value the restaurant claims to offer. I do not intend to return, as I see no reason to risk wasting more time, money, or peace of mind. And if what’s visible to customers is this poor, it raises serious concerns about the standards in...

I have been trying to hold back my review in the hopes for them to make this right. I had an event at the venue on April 25 with 120+ guests! Imagine the business they got from me. I paid $300 deposit on April 4 and signed the contract. After the event, they charge me with the full amount without deducting my deposit. They said the room fee is different from the reservation fee. I tried to argue to no avail because I do not have my contract with me. When I got home, I reviewed the contract and line 4 clearly states that the deposit will be applied to the final payment. I was super busy over the weekend with out of town guests visiting us. I called back on Tuesday April 29 about it. Initially they said I cannot get refunded because it was over 48 hours. But after debating that I already complained the night of the event, they escalated to management, got my credit card info and promised that I will get my $300 refund. It is already more than a week and still NO REFUND! Called to follow up multiple times but said there is a system problem and I should just wait for their call. Today, no one is answering their phone. I was hoping to bring more business here but with my experience, I have changed my mind! Too much hassle already. I want to mention also that day before the event, I called to request a setup for 120 pax inside the private room since that is their max capacity. I already know for a fact that I will exceed 120 but I was okay to have the excess use the patio. Day of the event, they only setup good...
