Asian Mint — Restaurant in Richardson

We've been long time customers of Asian Mint and have been to all of their locations. Tonight was the first time we were super let down.

From the sour and unpleasant server (couldn't get her name since she didn't introduce herself or say hi), the water down dumplings that tasted like they were cooked from frozen, to the no wifi policy. In addition, we were told by our server that they can't made anything not spicy if it says spicy (we've been here for years and yes they can make something less spicy) and was also told by our server that the reward program is no longer (we've been reward members for years and was never told no before).

The kids bento box was served with oranges with cinnamon on top. This is the first time we've ever gotten this box that had oranges with a bowl of water still in it. They obviously just emptied the whole cup and did not strain the oranges. Never had that here before. So I had to strain the oranges myself. Don't serve oranges in a bowl of water and cinnamon-like whaaat.

All the servers were seen behind the bar counter on their phones, some even on FaceTime. The servers tonight acted like they were there to take the order, bring the food and then just go do whatever they want behind the bar without providing great customer service. I couldn't believe to see every single server on their phone, one had AirPods in as they were on FaceTime.

Our server was short, not even sweet, and seemed bothered when we asked for plates with our appetizer.

The only reason for 2 stars is the crab fried rice is good. Another star is given to the sweetest and most attentive busser who is from Venezuela (didn't catch her name). She was great and took more care of us than our server did.

Rest of the food has gone downhill and we assume so will all of their locations.

We will be finding another clean Asian food restaurant as this was a super letdown and I think the server made our whole...

Came here today with my mom and we really enjoyed our experience. This is another amazing choice by the Yelp staff. This is my first, but will not be my last time at Enjoymint.

As we entered the restaurant and checked out the menu Jessica greeted us. She told us how to build our bowls and that we could order by their tablets at the counter. I informed her that we were there for the Yelp Elite event and she quickly looked up my name, found it, and told us what we could order. I decided to get the veggie bowl and added shrimp, basil, green onions, and carrots. My mom got their soup bowl that came with tons of veggies and she added chicken.

While we waited for our food we checked out their drinks and had a seat. Enjoymint has a small, but nice variety of drinks including teas and sodas. I decided to try their lemonade and all three of their teas. My favorite was the black mint ice tea. I added a little bit of lemonade to it and it gave it a great kick of sugar and tartness.

As a note Jessica was awesome!! She was quick to answer our questions and she was so nice and positive.

Our food was brought a few moments later and was just so good! The veggie bowl was just that--a colorful mix of carrots, peppers, onions, and broccoli. It was all tossed in a light chili sauce and brown thin noodles. I added some lime and sriracha sauce and it made everything pop and come even more alive. My moms bowl also had tons of flavor especially the broth. She said the only thing that was missing was some garlic.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very laid back, cool, and fun. The music bumped as we ate and made it easy for us to stay a while. I love that there is tons of indoor and outdoor setting. Edited: My wife made an online reservation for our anniversary here because we really like the food, she put a note that it was an special occasion for us and asked if it was possible to write a message saying "Happy Anniversary" in the dessert as a surprise for me, or at least it was supposed to be.

When we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted by the waitress because the hostess wasn't there yet, it was soon after they opened, my wife told the waitress we had a reservation and she said "that's OK" but didn't check anything and proceeded to escort us to our table.

We ordered food and then dessert but it didn't have anything written and that's because for the restaurant we were just another table instead of the couple who decided to make a reservation in one of their favorite places and with an special request to write something in the dessert as any other restaurant would do for special occasions upon request.

When we left the restaurant my wife felt bad because the surprise never arrived, it was a failure.

1 hour later my wife received a call, we assume from the hostess, asking her if we were going to go, my wife told her that we were already there for dinner and the lady replied, "so you aren't coming?", my wife again said that we already went there for dinner 1 hour ago and the lady replied "OK, I'll cancel it", so that was weird.

Super delicious food! I've tried at least half of the menu and I've never been disappointed, not even a little! Fast, friendly, great service! One of my favorite places...
