trying to keep things short and sweet since i'm exhausted from our Mother's Day celebration taking the entire day when it didn't need to.
we checked in to the waitlist online at 10:30 AM. we were quoted a 2 and a half hour wait time. understood bc of it being Mother's Day. ran errands until we were supposed to check in with the hostess at 12:55 PM. checked in at that time and was told it would be another 45 minutes wait....was sat another hour later. we were sat at 1:45 in Tyler's section. we also were showing 25th in line on the waitlist at 1:44 then all of a sudden at 1:45 we were ready to be sat?? super weird but not complaining right?
Tyler seemed to have an attitude problem. not necessarily towards us, but just in general. i understand the rush may have been a lot, but its freaking Mother's Day and you work at a brunch establishment....what exactly did you think was going to happen? it couldve been the perfect opportunity to make bank on a Sunday, but she seemed to want to be anywhere but where she was getting paid to be. she never cared to put in the bare minimum of effort. when i tried to order a mimosa, she said "actually were out....well which mimosa would you like to order" to which i replied "i guess which ones do you have?" she tried to say she could serve me a pre-made mimosa with orange juice, but they were out of champagne so i couldnt order one with any other juice. we then watched several champagne bottles with carafes of other juice go out to tables. my mom asked nicely for more hazelnut creamer for her coffee and Tyler said they were all out. we then watched other staff carry around a shower caddy filled with french vanilla and hazelnut creamer to refill their tables....we then also saw Tyler carry around the same caddy to refill her other tables. we ended up just scavenging from another empty table.....which im also not sure why our waitress didnt attempt that. fyi, my mimosa came out on ice (i know, weird to complain about. just weird bc mimosas dont typically come out iced and i didnt see another single mimosa come out that way to any other table). once we began ordering, she informed us they were out of bacon. Tyler also barely checked on us, we had to ask other staff for stuff. she argued with me over toast as well. it clearly said on the menu, and she even asked every single person at our table if they wanted 1. fruit, potatoes, or hashbrowns AND 2. toast or pancakes. i had ordered pancakes then also ordered a side of toast extra. i specifically asked for sourdough toast and she said yes maam. she then forgot my toast. when i reminded her about the sourdough toast, she brought out white toast and claimed "this is what they gave me so heres white toast"....i then just asked her to take it off the bill. she continued to go back and forth with me arguing that it came with it anyway...i reminded her of how she asked us about the order and what the menu said. either way, if we asked you to take it off the bill bc you werent able to provide us what we originally ordered why are you arguing with me?? after that, she refused to check on our table or even make eye contact with me. so much so, that i had to get up and find her and forcibly ask for a togo box. our food also came out almost an hour after ordering.
last point, we couldnt find anyone who remotely looked like a manager. no one wore name-tags so you couldnt tell if someone was a manager. no one table touched the entire 3 hours...

I have been wanting to try them since before they opened, but finally made it inside last week. It was a weekday morning about 9:30a. There were plenty of tables and I was seated immediately. They have a large main dining room, as well as a side room, and a covered patio. Guests were seated on the patio in late July so I imagine itās comfortable enough out there. The ambiance is cute with lots of photo ops. Their cocktails looked amazing and I look forward to going back for brunch further our past my surgery. Landon was my server and he was great!
Itās so hard for me to make a decision of what to eat when the menu is so full of delicious choices. They were out of crepes (another reason Iāll have to go back) so I ordered the two eggs my way. It included two (scrambled) eggs, two sausage links, potatoes, and the signature honey berry pancakes. These were my choices, but they donāt have to be yours. I eat eggs everyday, I have for years, I really like eggs lol Iāve had farm fresh eggs, regular eggs, all the eggs served all the ways, so when I say these were the best eggs Iāve ever had, it comes from a place of significant āeggsā-perience. So, these were the best eggs Iāve ever had. They were light, fluffy, fresh, and I donāt know what they put in them, but Iāve been wanting to eat them again ever since I left! Two eggs was filling, but not enough because they were so good. No salt or pepper needed. The breakfast potatoes were good, the sausage links were also amazing! They were fairly large, fresh, and tasty. A lot of breakfast places serve the previously frozen links, these didnāt taste or appear as though they have ever been frozen, and I would order them again every time. The signature honey berry pancakes were an up charge, but totally worth it. Two pancakes covered in berry and vanilla sauce with butter, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Just delicious, and surprisingly not too sweet. I could taste the fruit in every bite. I did not finish this meal! There was so much food! And even with the iced vanilla latte, moderately priced! I plan to go back every opportunity I get!
If you havenāt eaten here yet, run, donāt walk, and go there now! You...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSummary: The food is not good (everything is just either dry, bland, burnt, or all of above), and the service is painfully slow every time, probably because are so disrespectful to their staff, but I'll get to that later. š¬ My first visit was in February, and it was a disaster. When we finally got seated, it took forever for a server to even greet us. Just as long to get an order in. When our food finally arrived, the pancakes were so dry they felt almost like rubber and grit against my teeth. The honeyberry pancakes weren't very "berry" at allājust bland and dry.
I gave the place a second chance in July, hoping it was just a bad day the first time. Big mistake. While waiting for our food, which took forever again, a member of the management team stormed in and started screaming at a hostess. It seemed like he was trying to argue with her about him wanting to seat a party in a section he liked better even though the party had already been sat? Like what? Regardless, the fact that this manager was yelling SO aggressively, inching up to her face, was a disturbing sight to see. And he didn't stop for a long time. He just kept going and going, spitting everything. Now there's no clean tables to even seat guests! Everyone around us, including workers and customers, looked frightened. Just shock. It was hard to watch someone treat their staff so poorly. The host was just doing her job by seating a table, simple as that, but the manager wanted to make a huge scene about how he wanted a different table for the party.. that has already been seated.. so what's the point of bringing that up now?
On top of that, the food was disappointing yet AGAIN. The pancakes were still dry, and the hash browns were burnt. It took almost two hours for our food to arrive, and there was nothing special about it. With the way they treat their workers, I feel awful to have gone back a second time. I regret giving this establishment my money. I can't imagine how they'd treat kitchen staff behind closed doors, but can only wish them the best. This is my last visit. To this specific location: Do better and treat your staff like human beings if you're going to serve to HUMAN BEINGS. Disgusting.
Note: Photo is from my first visit...
