First time trying this place based on the reviews and not sure if we went on a bad night or didnât order the right dishes but all the food with the exception of the Miso Pork Ramen was extremely bland and mediocre. We eat at amazing & authentic Japanese, Thai, Korean and Chinese restaurants a lot so weâre particular when it comes to Asian food; we also donât really like chains but still wanted to try someplace new. We ordered the cream cheese rangoon which was decent but nothing spectacular. The beef fried rice was lacking flavor and the beef was so overcooked it was almost black. My pad thai was probably one of THE worst pad thai Iâve ever had. It tasted like they poured fast food orange or sweet and sour sauce all over the noodles and just stirred! The beef was also so overcooked, it was rubbery. It was so overly, sickening sweet that I could hardly eat it. My husband who is a pad thai lover and connoisseur tried it and said it was terrible and tasted nothing like pad thai. I had to add hot chili oil just to make it bearable because I was hungry. I didnât finish it because it was so bland and sweet. Nothing authentic about the Pad Thai at all. If youâre a a Pad Thai connoisseur, do not order it. My daughterâs Miso Ramen was the most flavorful out of all the dishes we ordered. I left hungry and I was the one who suggested we try a new place based on good reviews! :/ The service was extremely friendly hence...
Read moreMy first time. I had a chicken egg roll ($3) and Mongolian beef ($9.50). No lunch specials. The couple of guys working there were friendly. This is a order at the counter and someone brings out your food kind of place. It wasn't busy maybe they call out your name when it gets busy? The egg roll was fried well only slightly oily but really had no flavor. $3 for one egg roll seemed like a lot and even more so after tasting it. I'll skip it next time. The Mongolian beef - a bowl of rice with beef , onions and scallions- was good. It was a little spicy but if you like spicy foods (serrano level) then it's mild spicy. Lots of choices on the menu. Sushi, poki bowl, standard americanized dishes and ramen. There was a problem with the AC. Water dripping from the vents in the ceiling so watch where you sit. Seating is not that comfortable. I'll try here again but...
Read moreThis place is truly a hidden gem! Today, I ordered shrimp fried rice, and upon arrival, I decided to add beef. Even though my order was already ready, the staff was more than willing to remake it when I requested the beef in a separate container. The server insisted it wouldnât taste the same that way, and I truly appreciated their dedication to quality. My husband chose the broccoli beef, and both dishes were absolutely amazing.
The customer service was excellent, and the portion sizes were generousâgreat value for the price! I enjoyed a satisfying meal and still had leftovers for work đ. The atmosphere was clean and peaceful. Iâm excited to have discovered my new favorite Asian spot and look forward to experiencing the same outstanding service and delicious food on every visit!
