This restaurant close to the sign which stated write a review on Google show us and receive free wontons. I showed the cashier my review she said oh okay maybe next time. I stated if they're not going to good luck to the deals that they put on their Windows I've decided not to take the lunch special. I like to support small businesses in my home town, also would like to have good service along with that support. The service was fast the sesame chicken was flavorful and the sausage and the blend of seasonings kind of exploded in your mouth incredible. The fried rice which accompanies your lunch special was Bland devoid of flavor and the chicken looked bleached. The egg roll was good not spectacular not rotten but good. The free wontons which she asked me how many am I supposed to give you to which I replied I don't know. She decided to give me 4 okay told me to wait, I received the wontons and wanted to give them a try so I opened them right away in my car they were soggy undercooked and completely stuff with cream cheese, buyers Beware of the free one time if you do receive them you can't eat them unless you want food poisoning. So I gave it three stars because I'm in the middle of some of it was good some of it was extremely bad do support small businesses in Richfield find places for quick Chinese food like these mom and pop shops and support them. Just make sure your food is cooked well. The sesame chicken was exquisite as far as fast american Chinese lunch special food goes. If you'd like really good Chinese food, you have to travel a little further and have a little bit more patience and time for them to really let the food cook and blend spices ingredients with love and excellent excellent service and that takes time, which unfortunately I haven't been able to find and the fast food chinese-american mom and pop shops. If you know of a place...
Read morenightmarish experience. i ordered delivery online, and after over an hour of not receiving my food i called the store. the woman who answered told me a man called and she confirmed my address with him and said he would rather pick up the order than wait for delivery, came to the store, signed for my card, and took my food. didn't make sense and was a little scary to hear. she said they'll remake my order and it'll be out in 25 minutes. 45 minutes later (2 hours after i ordered) my food is delivered. The driver offered a different, more believable explanation and seemed just as frustrated as i was: they mixed up my order with someone else's and didn't want to admit to their mistake, and apparently fail to confirm with customers a lot. i didn't want to spend another 5 dollars on this experience especially since no compensation was offered but the driver was very polite and may very well have had nothing to do with my inconvenience so i tipped him anyway. i should have listened to other reviewers about the food quality but as someone who has worked in food service for 6 years, i know customers can be dramatic. my wings were soggy and old-tasting and i couldnt get past 2 bites, sickening. then, my noodles were loaded with meat-trimmings. not an exaggeration. /large/ chunks of skin/fat/cartilage with no meat attached, don't even know what it was supposed to be. i asked for chopsticks and napkins and received neither. despite this being the nearest asian delivery to my new place, i will never purchase from here again. really regret...
Read moreThis is a great place when you want your standard Chinese takeout fix. The food always seems fresh and the portions are generous.
The appetizers are pretty legit. The cream cheese wontons are some of the best around; they are large, not too greasy, and have a nice dollop of cheese. Not your tiny little rice paper with marble size cream cheese like you now see at many places. Egg rolls are nothing special.
All of the entrées are quite tasty. Some standouts include the Dragon and the Phoenix, Beef with Broccoli, and Mu Shu Pork. Shrimp entrées have large pieces of shrimp that are usually done well. For noodles, try the Singapore noodles if you like curry.
Before the most recent ownership this place was hit and miss (changed owners 3 yrs ago). I would say it is much improved since then. I would disagree with another reviewer about online ordering. It is a 3rd party website but I have never had an issue with the 10+ times I have used the site. You don't have to use a credit card on the website. Just choose pay at the store...it seems less difficult than explaining my order...
