First of all I would like to say I love how this has brought new life to the space. It was so dead before, now there is new life! First of all you do pay upfront. I have tried a number of hot pot places in Minnesota and chicago, and I think this is very comparable to the others. I liked that you could choose up to 3 broths, so we tried the original, mushroom and Korean seafood broth. All 3 were very flavorful, the original was my favorite. The Korean seafood was tasty with a little spice. They also had a make your own sauce station, I would suggest that they put up recipes for common easy sauces. This makes it easier for first time hot potters, who don't know where to start.
You order everything from an ipad, so convenient. I would suggest ordering in chunks. We ordered a lot the first round and a couple of things were missed. We later just ordered in smaller parts. It is all you can eat. Since you do pay upfront please be mindful about food waste.
I thought the quality of everything we got was great and they had a lot of variety of things to try.
The only downside is this place is small compared to other places. They made a table for 4 into a table for 5, the problem here was that the 5th chair was blocking the walkway a little, so when the robots were delivering the food they couldn't move because it was being blocked.
Overall I would...
Read moreAll you can eat hot pot with a 2 hr time limit. Parking is decent. It's in between the ramen shop and Tous Les Jours. You pay up front, place your order on a tablet and the food gets sent to you on a cute robot.
They had a pretty big selection to choose from, but you can't customize the spice level if you're looking at the Szechuan broth. They have a good selection of dipping sauce ingredients and even have premixed ones (I got it but didn't end up trying the premixed hot pot sauce but the people I went with said it was too sweet).
It's nice and clean, the bathrooms give 2000s club vibes lol, they have this cool sky lights above a section of seating that even has constellations. I liked that they also had rooms for bigger parties. We had gotten there early so we were seated at our own table but those that came later were put with other parties for the longer tables.
I can't really find anywhere that has the prices but we went on Presidents Day during lunch but ended up paying $34.99 pre tax (it said dinner but I'm not sure if there's a difference). Overall, I'd recommend it. They have a good playlist going (all time pop on YouTube, I asked lol), clean, good atmosphere and...
Read moreAn All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) hot pot spot with a 2 hour time limit. Price is extremely reasonable. I believe it was about $35 per person (in pictures) during lunchtime on a weekend.
Broth quality is excellent! You have choices of regular, spicey and other very flavorful broth. There is a side dish buffet where you can grab sauces and other greens and veggies at your liking. We had 3 different broths; Szechuan Spicey, Original and Japanese Miso. All were quite accurate in flavor and when you bathed your meats and veggies and seafood in the broth, you are welcomed with amazing flavors. The broth gets high praise here but spicey isn't too spicey. It's got a good kick but it will not satisfy those who are looking for extreme heat.
The selection of meat, veggies, seafood and marinated meats are excellent. The amount of meats given to you is great and just enough to fulfill your first round to try other selections.
Seating was great and service was solid. We got our waters filled and extra napkins with a simple request.
Overall, a great hot pot in the location. If you're craving hot pot after the Mall of...
