I rarely leave a review unless I have had exceptionally great service or egregiously bad service, this time it’s the latter. On the evening of April 23rd 2024 myself and two friends decided we would grab a late bite to eat after shopping. We normally all enjoy Panda Express. However, we were greatly dissatisfied with this location. I began ordering a two entree plate with side. Typically I have always ordered brown rice with a meal. So as any other day visiting I did the same. When asked which rice I wanted I requested brown rice. The employee working the line said we do not have brown rice. I referred her to the menu that said they did. She was extremely rude and exclaimed well we do not have it and proceeded to ask what other rice I wanted. I said I’d prefer not to have rice in this case. Mind you I usually get two entree plate so I have left overs for the next day. After I told her I didn’t want rice she proceeded to instead grab one entree. I said I still want the 2 entrees and a side. So she begrudgingly asked me what I wanted. After grabbing my two entrees, she asked do you want anything else? I said well yes I would like my side as well. With a roll of her eyes she grabbed my side. I moved on to pay and ordered a drink. I went to the drink station and yet again a disappointment when there was a post-it-note that said no ice. Naturally I would have been okay had there been an actual issues with the ice machine. However I have worked in many restaurants as a server and bartender and I could tell they burned the ice extremely early as there was ice in the drainage pan. I am all for getting ahead on closing tasks, in this case this interfered directly with guest experience. If this is the standard of Panda Express then the employees were in no violation aside from the condescending attitude from my initial point of contact, and my friends and I will start exclusively going to Leann Chin. However, being that Panda Express is a guest first experience I highly doubt these are the practicing standards. We will not be going to this location again. Word of mouth is a powerful tool that can greatly harm a company’s reputation. Had google given the option I would have rated zero stars....
Read moreI’ve come here 3 times in the last month since starting a job in the area for lunch. The first time my food was cold. I literally had cold terryako sauce and the noodles were like not even luke warm. I called and spoke to someone who said they could replace it the next day. I saved the bowl I didn’t eat for lunch the next day. I get there and the mgr tells me she can give me 20 percent off the meal. Eh I mean ok. So the remake was about 1/2 the portion of the regular I get I mean I’ve been eating the same dish from panda for years. Just not this one. I don’t say anything because really what’s the point. Few weeks go by and my co worker wants to get panda so I tell him my experience and he’s like nahhh they have the best portions and I really enjoy the noodles/chow Mein so I’m like ok fine but don’t say I didn’t tell you so. And wouldn’t you know. He comes back disappointed and he says they were 39 mins til closing and did not have enough chow mein so basically gave us rice with the tiniest bit like a bite of chow mein on top of the rice. I wish I would have taken a picture now. Maybe a chicken thigh and two things of teriyaki filled the rest of the space in the dish. Again because they were closing in 39 minutes I guess we got less meat as well but for the same price as a full serving lol. Definitely made a believer and we just won’t go here again. I suggest if your hungry and willing to pay for nothing but a child’s serving this place is for you. I have yet to find a terryaki spot in this area or state I’m new here but I’m definitely on the hunt. Panda Express at this location is def in need of some improvement on portion personality and fixing their shortcomings. Hope you take this review and do something diff for the people who are unfortunate enough...
