I'd say that typically service here is just fine and what I expect from a coffee shop chain such as Caribou (pleasant and efficient), but a recent experience here was not great. I went there to have coffee with a friend, so we ordered inside and waited. After at least 10 minutes, checked to see if perhaps our drinks were ready, and they had forgotten about them, so I gave them our order again. The manager (a younger lady), yelled across the counter at one point that they were out of coconut milk for my friend (lactose intolerant), and could they do something else. She asked for another alternative (almond milk, etc.). Then they said my drink was ready. I drank it and it was not my drink. It turned out they gave me a drive-thru customer's drink. Then the manager yelled over to my friend again that they had no dairy alternatives, so she settled on regular milk. At this point, we both just wanted to resolve everything so we could enjoy our meeting. Finally, after probably 25 minutes since ordering, we got correct drinks. But no apologies, or attempts by staff or the manager to repair the experience. I've worked in coffee shops for years, both local and chain, and if we had a customer with such a disordered experience we would have offered a coupon for a free drink, or something similar. I also know that when it gets busy, and orders get mixed up, how panic-inducing that can be, and I have no ill-will towards the staff. But I think when training new staff, beyond teaching them how to make coffee and ring a cash register, teaching them the basics of professionalism and customer service is what will create...
Read moreThis location has the absolute worst customer service. I have tried coming here 3 times now since I have moved into the apartments across the street. Each time I come in no one even acknowledges that you have walked in and the baristas behind the counter all just look at you while they play a game of chicken to see who has to take the register. Today the girl who was all the way over on drive threw is the only one who came to take my order. Not the girl on sandwiches nor the blonde shift lead that literally walked right past me waiting at the register, even though she made direct eye contact. Thank you drive threw girl for taking my order!!! You are the only nice person in this whole store. On top of everything else the wait time is insane because they prioritize drive threw. Got my drink in 3 minutes (not bad at all) but waited 15 minutes for my sandwich! What the heck. FYI...I can see my sandwich in queue on your menu board (it literally is the only one that says “dine in”), and I can also see every time you delete an order that is behind mine while I am still waiting. Will definitely not...
Read moreI go to this location every weekend because of the drive-thru. This morning the drive thru was filled with cars so I decided to walk in. Very friendly person at check-in but didn't ask if I was a perks member. Then I had to wait about 10 minutes for my coffee, only one person making the drinks with a line at the drive up and a line of people waiting inside. The other person was making the sandwiches, they need more help during the busy times. I finally received my coffee and left. When I took a drink, again it was not what I ordered. Every time I go to this location my coffee always tastes different. I've been going to this location for at least a year but, I'm done. I'm tired of expecting my coffee but always getting something different. I always get a large mint condition and maybe twice have I ever tasted the mint in my coffee. I don't get it, it really is not that difficult, so I will sacrifice the drive-up for walking in to a different location, maybe they will do a better job and getting my...
