Burger Box — Restaurant in Richland Hills

I've been eating here for years. They have that old fashioned menu that I grew up with that includes cheeseburgers, philly cheesesteak sandwiches, chicken tenders, steakfingers and more. I forgot to take pictures the last time I was there. I rated them four stars because they typically have a younger staff when I'm there and the staff don't care or maybe don't have the ability yet to provide the type of customer service that older staff (25+) have aquired. My latest visit there was a few minutes before 9pm. I was simply driving by, saw their open sign still lit up and several cars in the drive-thru. I turned around and went back and entered the drive-thru. The young lady (appeared to be an older teen) greeted me and I asked for a minute to review their menu. She said, "Yes, that's fine and we close in five minutes" in an abrupt manner. I'm not one to go to places a few minutes before closing. I would have never stopped if the open sign wasn't still on. But since I was there and they were willing to take my order, I don't feel it was necessary to tell me they were about to close or anything else in an abrupt manner. I had went through the drive thru and ordered a bacon burger which originally comes with cheddar cheese. I had asked to substitute the cheddar cheese for Swiss cheese instead. When I drove off and got home my burger did not have the Swiss cheese I had asked for and had cheddar. I called the restaurant and told them my order was wrong and they said if I was ever in the area they would replace my order. I was happy with that. I then call a few weeks later and stated that I wanted my burger that was promised to me and the manager said that he could t find my name written down. I told him that was not a problem on my end that was their problem. He said because one of his employees failed to write my name down he would not be able to honor what was previously promised. In the community of Richland Hills, Hurst, there are very few fast food locations that truly feel like one of those “back in the day” burger joints. McDonald’s, Burger King, whataburger, and burger street are within a miles distance of this location but I doubt any of them would give you the attention Burger Box gave me. At 8:57, they close at 9, I drove up, working in fast food myself, I asked when they close, not wanting to impede on their closing duties. Nevertheless, they assured me they could my order and proceeded to give it to me in a quick professional fashion.
