First off, if you are looking for your go to movie shop, then this is it. I love this place! I've literally tried to find movies online, just to see if they would even have it in stock. Basically, 9 times out of 10, they had the movie I was looking for, weither I wanted it or not.
Aside from movies, they also have a very good selection of games and accessories, along with posters, music (CDs, Records, etc.) And, good snack and drink selections. There are too many extras inside this place for me to mention... if you haven't been in before, you owe it to yourself to check them out.
The customer service as always, for me at least, been top notch. Your greated when walking in and thanked when walking out. If you call them looking for a movie and they have it, they will hold it for you up to 3 days. Most other places will tell you, sorry... first come, first serve. There are times when I go there just to chat with the employees... I've come to be known as the, Harry Potter guy, being I'm a huge fan, and always looking for HP stuff. I've bought every large potter-poster they have, lol.
Something else you will enjoy, are the prices, as they are hard to beat. I get so many used bluray movies for $3.99 to $9.99, when they can cost $3 to $5 more elsewhere.
Bottom line is, forget Best Buy (who is reducing their movie inventory, as told by an employee), or target, or walmart; with prices to gouge! Make this place your second home and you won't be dissapointed.
P.S. there can be a wait to checkout (sometimes) as employees will stay by your side, helping you find what you need, till it's found.
Don't delay, go to...
Read moreIf I could give it a no star, I would. Cool place to visit, but when your looking for Pokémon cards this is not the place to be. You have to wait for one binder at a time (meaning if some one not in your party is in a binder you have to wait to even have another pulled out) as if someone is going to steal something. With the amount of Pokémon cards I own, my kids own, and we buy this is the worst Pokémon card experience I ever had. Word of advice to the taller gentleman with the red hair, everyone is not coming to steal from your establishment. Stereotyping was is not a good practice. Because of said stereotyping me and my entire family left every card we had already decided to purchase. Not to mention the cards are way over priced. If I'd give you all any advice work on your customer service because it certainly needs a change. Secondly, I'd suggest your sister store in Fort Worth look at their inventory as well as they have a binder full of fake cards that where also over priced (where did they get the prices from they are fake). If your not going to do TCGs correctly I would just not do them at all and just stick to what your known...
Read moreThey (usually) have whatever movie you're looking for that aren't on any streaming service. The used movie prices are pretty low and affordable. Why it doesn't get 5 stars though. The above being mentioned, is about the only affordable thing. The new movies are cheaper at Walmart or Target. The pops, when new, are marked up and you can even get them cheaper on the Funko/Exclusive website. If you find something rare, for sure, you're going to pay more than eBay asking prices. The only benefit is seeing it's condition and being able to walk out of the store with it. They do SOMETIMES have rare things that are affordable or a reasonable asking price. I get that places like this need to make profit. But for reference: The 10" All Might pop is priced at $45! He's $30 on the Funko website. And if you get $50 worth of items, you get free shipping (you can get 2 more pops and not pay shipping for about $5 more than buying there)! Maybe MTC doesn't get them at cost like other bigger places. But if it weren't for my love of stupid, old movies that no one has on their streaming services, I wouldn't need to...
