Absolutely the worst service I have ever received!! My son chose this place to celebrate the end of school and his straight A's for the year. When we first walked in, it felt like a sauna, when we sat down our waitress came by and we asked her why it was so hot, she informed us the A/C was out but that this feels better than it did during lunch time. We got our food which wasn't that great. My friend and I stood at the steak area for no less than 5 minutes before the gentleman, who was cooking the food and kept looking at us, finally asked us what we wanted and told us it would be another 10 minutes before the steak was medium well. We went back to the table where we had to pile the dishes up and kept having to ask for refills. One time she completely "forgot" our drinks. Now I have been a waitress before, I always look to make sure they are not slammed with tables. She only had 3 tables. Most of the time I kept seeing her standing around. But having 8 people at a table the dishes add up very fast. So when we left we did not leave a tip, something I never do unless the service was horrible, but that's not the worse part... we were surprising my son with his first car. The waitress decided to follow us out and proceed to tell me while "accidentally" hitting my shoulder with hers, "Thanks for the no tip and dirty table!" All While I was recording the reveal of his car. I then had to stop recording and I asked her "excuse me?" She than got in my face and said "Thanks for the no F** tip and messy table!!" I had my one year old in my arms and told her how disrespectful that was, that she didn't deserve a tip with her rude self and that the table wouldn't have been dirty had she cleared it off like she was supposed to. I was than told to "Get out of here" by the waitress. I called the manager who told me that he would just have his boss call me, didn't offer an apology or even came outside to talk to me after I told him I was still here I just didn't want to come inside and cause a scene like his waitress did. He acted like he didn't believe me, until I told him that I have her recorded on my phone saying that. When I did receive a call back (4 days later) it was from a private number while I was at work so I didn't answer it. A voicemail was left from a Maeonii (?) The district manager, she left no call back number and said she would call me back later that evening and never did. I not only was disrespected but I missed the entire reveal of my sons car, his reaction, the "job well done" speech from my husband and the other family members we had there, and what I did catch on video has that woman being hateful on it. I will never get those moments back, all because of a woman who didn't do her job and wanted to blame me. It has been 3 weeks since this happened and I have yet to hear from anyone in corporate. I sent an email 2 weeks ago and nothing. I am writing this review to hopefully inform other people to not go waste over $120 to go eat here and be treated the way we...
Read moreWe hadn’t been to a Golden Corral in a long time, and walking into this one was like walking into an old abandoned mall. I was nearly overwhelmed with the debris inside on the lobby floor, the bright but dingy fluorescent lights, some flickering. The buffet area had been painted white at some point but it was a dingy white and worn all along the buffet skirting kick plates. The ceiling is outright scary with the dirty ceiling tiles, air vets and yellowed plastic covers. The employees have no life to them, they just look defeated. No one was rude but no one was friendly either. The food was tired, we went for dinner but I’m not sure how often the food is changed out thru the day. I won’t say the food was terrible, but it’s was borderline palatable. The salad bar wasn’t fresh, lettuce had started to wilt. The fried chicken was the best of the options I tried, it was hot and had some flavor. Not sure what was going on with the mash potatoes but it wasn’t your typical recipe. Not a single dessert looked appealing. The dining area is also worn, paint worn off the half walls, the drab tan-ish color also doesn’t help it look clean or fresh. The carpet might have been replaced in the last year or so, so it wasn’t too bad. But the entire restaurant lacked any warmth or inviting feel. It was stark, cold and drab. Keep in mind this wasn’t a cheap meal either. It was $43 for two senior plates and one soft drink. We tried it out because you just can’t find good buffet restaurants any more, and this one wouldn’t qualify as that either. It was really a sad experience. I know times are tough, but this place has been neglected a long time. I can’t recommend it and won’t...
Read moreThis establishment was very poor. Food was old, salad bar was disgusting. Lettuce was wilted and brown, flies flew over food. Food was old and looked as if it was reheated several times. No fresh fruit or vegetables. Three bean salad tasted fermented. My husband's sweet tea tasted like it was moldy. No dessert as they were all gone and nothing fresh was put out. Yogurt was outdated and so was the individual milks. The restaurant has not been kept up with cleanliness. I can understand that not all businesses have the money to repaint but I do believe in this time of a pandemic the walls and chairs and tables should be scrubbed everyday with soap and water at the very least. There was food dirt grime over the walls and chairs the tables were disgusting and had not been wiped down I don't think at all that day. In this time we're supposed to be very sanitary and this was not the case in this building. The bathrooms were so bad I wouldn't use it nor would I wash my hands in there it was disgusting. There was actual urine all over the floor. I never give ratings on businesses or what I have bought from businesses but I felt that I needed to tell people that this restaurant is a disgrace in an entirety. Not only did I not feel safe eating the food sitting at the table or going into their restroom but it cost two people $42 to eat there. I can give anyone advice out there do not go to this...
