I order from here at least once per week because I like to order the chiwawa as it reheats nicely for a crazy work schedule that doesn't allow for more than a fast dinner.
I've ordered a lot of items here: The Chiwawa, Quesadillas, Taco Salad, Nachos, Burritos, the Guacamole in all different sizes, as well as the 2 most popular desserts.
All of their items are tasty and very filling. There are vegetarian options and the ability to create just about anything you want.
The only issue is that the "featured items" that are specific (especially if you order via Doordash) and are on the signs in-store like the "Crispy Sriracha Ranch Chicken Bacon Quesadilla" and the "Nashville Hot Chicken & Pickle Burrito" seem to be items that despite being featured, staff will ask you what goes in them.
I'm not sure why, but I have to pull up my Doordash order history in-store to look for what the ingredients are.
I find this really strange bc I'm not referring to altering these items, but if you ask for the items on the sign while standing in line...they have no idea what you're talking about.
It's kind of annoying because you can't just say the name of the featured item and then have them make it.
The other thing is that the Sriracha Ranch Quesadilla specifically has a photo of Sriracha Ranch dressing atop the dish. But I've never received the Sriracha Ranch on the Quesadilla.
Considering that's what it's named after, it's pretty weird.
The guacamole is delicious, but at $9.00 for 8 oz, it's ridiculous. It's not an entree & doesn't come with chips or anything, so the price is honestly outrageous for a side item.
I personally don't like the flavor of their salsa at all. I don't know what it is...but it just has an odd taste. I'd skip this if you're deciding between guacamole, pico de gallo, & salsa.
The former 2 are absolutely delicious. The salsa is not. I've tried it countless times thinking maybe it was the spice level or just a weird batch, but I guess it's just the recipe.
The Chiwawa, Sriracha Ranch Qusadilla, Taco Salad, & Burritos are all safe bets on getting awesome food.
I was less impressed with value of things like the Tacos, Nachos, & the Love Chips (dessert).
The Fried Oreos are tasty and fun to get every now and then, so if you're deciding on dessert, get those. They come with your choice of sauce and are a reasonable value. You can share these if you're looking for a little something sweet after your meal.
Overall, it's still one of my favorite places to get take-out, but don't expect it to be a cheap meal, whether ordering in-store or via Doordash.
They do have their own app with coupons, but you usually can't use them in-store or on DD. Only if you order through their app and (I assume) pick it up in store?
People don't want to download an entire app for each store, restaurant, & gas station, so I really wish businesses would stop making coupons & deals only available through a...
Read moreIf you can get past the horrible service, the food is at least super good. My family and I drove 40 minutes to try this place out. 40. My partner is a GM in the food industry so yeah, sometimes we expect at least some sort of decent customer service when we go out to eat… we received none of that here lol. The lack of actual management is insane. There was a manager there, but he didn’t present himself as one who knew how to handle a store. The first issue was the sauce for our sons chicken tenders that the forgot to mention- no biggie so I went and asked for some. The guy I spoke to directed a young girl with red hair to get a cup and hand it to me.. I was literally standing right in front of her, she got the cup with attitude, filled the sauce up, and slammed the cup down and slid it down to the other persons order while rolling her eyes, lol. Of course that set me off because I am a kind person to all, so her behavior was unnecessary and unwelcoming. The next issue was the soda machine, they’re charging people an arm and a leg for fountain drinks that aren’t even carbonated. Staying on top of your co2 tank is important, and the employees were acting like they didn’t want to let anyone in the store get a bottled drink because of their mistake of selling everyone at dinner rush fountain drinks when their machine wasn’t working. I then took my kids to the bathroom, where the toilet was also broken and the bathroom was filthy. For the prices they charge and the drive we made, you’d definitely expect a little bit of decency from other human beings. All I can say is I’m glad a location is opening up closer to home next week, and I can only hope this location has much better service. Will definitely not be back at this location ever again. Tip to the manager or owner, please actually delegate tasks to your employees and show them how to work properly and be respectful. Lead by example. This establishment was a...
Read moreOver priced. Untrained staff and/or new or maybe don't want to be helpful, hard to tell.
No guidance in the process and the prices appear to be arbitrary when you aren't getting any communication from staff at a build-your-own setting where ample communication would be key. Also not very friendly or welcoming, customer service is not a priority. Had planned on purchasing a few more items than just 2 entrees, but by the end of the initial process we were left so confused we completely forgot...and not like the staff asked or offered additional items.
The steak was flavorless and terribly tough, I would not recommend paying the extra money for such an item. Also, nearly $5 for a small container of queso on its own seems crazy...and maybe could have been processed as part of a deal with other items purchased right before we went back up for the cheese, but again blank stares...no information from the staff and literally no desire to provide customer service left things totally terrible.
I know this is a fairly "new" establishment. So I do hope they get better, but we won't be going to find out...not...
