I understand it is a new store, and I frequently travel out of town specifically for Chipotle so my expectations might be a little off for a store in its first month. But it is very clear that there is no manager or manager that cares at this location. It is always filthy even outside, the staff walks out when they want and also are visibly upset doing their jobs, there hasn't been one dollar bills for change in the register for at least a week and chips for at least three days, based on my in person experience and the most recent review. I don't really care about wait times, so I have no complaints about that, which is why everything else is more frustrating. I'm always willing to wait patiently and pay for quality, well made food, but it is always a 50/50 chance that I can get that at this location. They are frequently out of random food items at random times in the day. Like no white rice FOUR hours before close or no chips on a Saturday during lunch? Which would also not be a problem if they were posting notices for those of us walking in. Like just put on the door that there's no chips or rice or veggies or cheese so people aren't upset that they waited 45 minutes to only get half of their meal. Some of the staff is EXTREMELY pleasant and work visibly hard, but other staff members will look you in the eye and lie about having the items you can clearly see in front of you with your own eyes. I didn't really expect better from the people of Johnstown, just sucks we can't have anything good or nice in this town. No one really likes working and I understand serving customers is hard, but if you HATE your job, you don't have to make it everyone's problem and I really hope you can find somewhere that fits your needs better. (I also think this location needs a window from the prep area to the pick up window area so the staff can communicate with each other better bc Chipotle, you are setting them up to fail with that. Read moreThis chipotle is awful and there is no other words to describe it. The team here is ignorant, unprofessional and quite frankly they all seem miserable. I’ve been to multiple chipotle locations and have never experienced any of what I have experienced at Johnstown. They are always out of everything. Everytime I go they are out of honey chipotle vinaigrette. This goes specifically with one of the meals - how are you going to be out? This is also something that can be made in house. They were out of two different salsas (corn and tomato) which are probably the two most popular. Cant they make these in house? Is it laziness? Understaffed? Then this is what my sisters bowl looked like. Absolutely ridiculous. These workers are stingy with their portions and when you are paying $15 for a bowl this is unacceptable. This isn’t the first time it’s happened. I almost checked the bowl before we left the drive through but was giving them the benefit of the doubt. Please tell me who thinks this is acceptable. All of these other reviews are accurate as to what type of environment and customer service this chipotle offers. Their burritos have at most 5 pieces of meat and that’s including paying for extra. Read moreThis is just an objectively terrible location - the chips are always soggy. I mean Always. Want Fajita Vegetables for your burrito bowl? Forget about it. Doesn't matter if you visit during lunchtime or in the evening, they are out of the fajita Vegetables 100% of the time. I'm not saying they make you wait 5-10mins for them to make more... rather, they'll look at you @ 1pm in the afternoon and say "we're out of veggies for the rest of the day" How's that even possible - it's your staple complimentary product?! Last 4 visits, at all different times - never any veggies & always soggy chips. Those are chief staples of the brand - how do you consistently fail to deliver on the basics?! I don't even blame the employees - this is a terrible management/franchisor problem. We came on Day 2 of opening *gave them the benefit of the doubt) but it's been nothing but disappointment since then. Sorry to lament but it's just incredible how bad a place can be, given the backing of such a strong national franchise - the guidebook is there, it's plug+play how do you fumble an open layup, literally everyday?!
