I really wanted to like this place. It was recommended to me by several people. Came in, was seated promptly. There were only two other small parties seated in the same area as us, so not busy at all.. Needed several extra minutes to look at the menu. Our server's name was "Jazmine". We ordered the sushi for two and an order of Tempura shrimp. The sushi was fantastic, but we never received our Tempura shrimp. The waitress literally acted like she was in a complete hurry. She would come to the table and ask if we needed anything, and then would literally dart away so fast you couldn't ask or tell her a second thing, like our Tempura never was brought out. She would dart around the room like she was making convenience laps just to make it look good. It was literally laps. Twice I tried to tell her that our Tempura was never brought out, but again, she would take off so fast that you couldn't get a word in. Finally gave up, and when I had the check in hand, both people in our party noticed she watched us like a hawk, and kept heading to our table to get the check like she was trying to usher us out. Finally came to take the check for the third time and I nearly had to hold the check hostage to explain that she charged us for the Tempura that never got served. Never received an apology or an explanation. She just took the check and came back, left it on the table, and darted off again. Was really disappointed by this kind of service, or lack thereof. No one should be in this big of a hurry. I really wish I would have taken a video. It was nothing short of someone running around the room. The guests at the table behind us even commented on this strangeness.
Edit - The generic response these people give to every bad review shows they really do not care. Don't...
Read moreAfter hearing great things about this restaurant, we went for dinner for my birthday (which they knew from the reservation). As soon as we went in, we realized how loud it was - you had to yell to be heard. We waited for our table. Once we got there, we sat awhile until a waitress finally asked if anyone was helping us. We ordered drinks & sushi. Another group joined us & also notated how loud it was. Our drinks were finally brought out & orders taken for the Hibachi. The chef came out & you could barely hear him over the music. He did his show, which was ok (he didn't seem into it like the chef at the next table). Food was divided up & everyone left the noodles & fried rice as it was extremely salty. The waitress brought out boxes & checks. The group that was at the table originally told them how the check was to be split, but was rung under one check (the waitress wasn't happy on having to re-ring it) . We were never asked if we wanted additional drinks or dessert. I wasn't acknowledged for my birthday (but another table was when we walked in). And that sushi - well it never came.
The dinning side was quiet when I visited the restroom (which had paper towels and toilet paper all over the floor).
Overall, I wasn't overly impressed. I have been to other Hibachi restaurants & the experience was much more enjoyable. I will update this review if I visit again.

Read moreHad hibachi during a week night, they had one chef and one table going. We were informed we would have to wait for others to come or buy two full hibachi meals. Unfortunately this meant we could not order off of the menu. We decided to be seated and buy two hibachi meals instead of waiting for the chance that someone else would show up to join us. We were seated and service was slow going, we waited 25 minutes to get food then waited some more for the chef to be done at the other table before coming to see us. He went and caught the chicken and cleaned the rice and came out to see us. Food was okay, nothing spectacular, but acceptable nonetheless. I’m glad we didn’t wait for others to show up, because for the hour and a half we were there no one did.
Overall, I don’t think it’s a good value, the service was sub-par on a weeknight at 545pm, and the menu is limited if you don’t have more than 2 hibachi meals worth of folks. So, don’t show up if you want more than hibachi but don’t want to spend $50 on hibachi first for the chef to come out. Food wasn’t good enough to take home leftovers. Neat place though, would rather replace it with...
