I haven’t gotten an order from them that was correct in -I can’t remember how long- but today was actually the worst. Drive thru: Ordered kids meal, 2 sodas, milkshake, burrito, and Big Mac meal- no onions, extra pickles, sub the quarter pounder bun (so no middle bun) Told me, after I paid, they didn’t have the burrito, no problem, offered and gave me a mcchicken instead Realize the Big Mac got put in wrong (I should’ve double checked the receipt harder), also did not get the sauces ordered for the kids meal Go back into the drive through for the 2nd time to get burger corrected and get the sauces (dinner rush, this was already taking a long time, it’s about to be another whole 20 mins thru again) They tell me to pull to the 2nd window and when I do, they hand me someone else’s food Go inside to try to get this burger fixed still and give back the other person’s food that was wrongly handed to me Another 15 minutes later, and after a little confusion on getting my order (the lady at the counter took my receipt, put a new burger order in, and just called the # of the new order when handing the food out… how am I suppose to know it’s mine? She didn’t tell me an order #, give me a new receipt, or state what was in the order?.. the lobby is full and I guess it was a good thing I was paying extra attention to use context clues to figure out it was my food) I get handed the burger with the pickles and onions fixed, but completely ignored the bun request At this point it’s been an hour since I first came into the drive thru to order. The rest of the food is cold, and I have a sleepy kid and not enough patience myself to try and get my burger fixed again. Tried to call the restaurant to maybe get a resolution, hoping they don’t ask for my receipt since the lady at the counter never gave it back, but nobody would answer the phone anyways.
$30 for an hour of headache and cold food. Never doing that again.
I’ve had small mistakes with every meal I’ve ordered, inside, drive thru, order ahead, delivery… but after today, there’s just no way I’ll ever return for food here...
Read moreI placed an order through the app(which needs some serious upgrades IMHO) and was parked in one of their numbered curbside spots waiting on our food when I saw a gentleman I'm guessing to be in his late 70s approaching the door very slowly using a walker, clearly struggling. I immediately hopped out of my truck and rushed to open the first door for him. Just inside their ridiculously small entry way was one of the employees, the older gal that always has the kind of look on her face that makes you wonder who pissed in her Cheerios (if you've been to this location a few times you'll know exactly who I mean). As the man passed through the first door I was holding I assumed the employee would open the second door for him. Instead, she just stood there watching the man with an extremely annoyed look on her face so I quickly edged around the gentleman and his walker and held the second door open for him. After he had made his way inside I turned around to go back out to my truck just in time to have the door close in my face. And then to top it all off she happened to be bringing out my order but had already started walking back to the building because "there didn't appear to be anyone inside" even though my 12 year old was in the backseat. She didn't even wait for me to open my door before thrusting my order at me and trudging off. We usually end up at this McDonald's 2 or more times a month so I've seen this particular employee numerous times, not once have I ever seen her smile or try to be friendly or even remotely pleasant to customers. Even so, her obvious annoyance at the man for being in her way and moving so slowly and her refusal to open the door for him shocked me. We all need to be better people than that. If by some 1 in a million chance the gentleman I held the doors for happens across this review, to you, sir, I say your "thank you" is appreciated but it was very much my pleasure to be there at the right time to give you a hand and I hope you had a...
Read moreFirst off I would like to say Mack (the assistant manager at this location) is AMAZING. He embodies all the qualities of a good manager with excellent customer service skills who truly cares about his job and his customers. That is so rare these days. It truly is. We had a horrible experience at the McDonald’s on Wellsian way so we called this location on Queensgate to ask for a corporate phone number to call and I spoke with Mack and explained to him what had happened. He was appalled and immediately apologized and said he would be more than happy to give us free food for our trouble. We went straight there and he totally took care of our family. He made sure we got exactly what we ordered made FRESH as we requested. He even gave us extra food on top of what we ordered. THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE!!! When your customers are are not satisfied with your product you make up for it however you can to keep their business. And that is what Mack did. It wasn’t even his team or location that messed up our order but he stepped up and went out of his way to satisfy unhappy customers. I know it may not matter in the long run because people will always go to McDonald’s no matter what even when the food or the service sucks.. Well it mattered to me and my family that he made sure our food and the service was excellent and he turned what was an awful experience at another location into a very pleasant one at his location. I made sure to post a review on the other location so I truly hope the owners or upper management reads both my reviews so they know who is doing what and how they are representing their investment. Mack and his team are doing an excellent job of ensuring repeat business for...
