3 Margaritas — Restaurant in Richland

When I was young, my family took me here and I just so happened to get a root beer. I didn't want to share with my dad and the waiter heard our conversation and joked that he would spank me if I didn't share. After that day, I was really scared and I refused to come back. Now, many years later, I came back for like the first time and there is new staff, they kind of fixed up the building, and the food is way better than I remembered it. Now that you know my history here, let’s start with the review.

To start, the meal came with these thin, crispy and warm corn chips and mild and hot salsa. I had a burrito with shredded beef and that comes with refried beans and Mexican rice. (See pic) It was absolutely DELICIOUS. The beans and burrito were covered in this delicious layer of a blended cheese mix. The prices? Reasonable. Wonderful visit with wonderful food. The only issue I had was with the tortillas. Tortillas consist of 3 to 4 ingredients that means they should be made fresh. I'm so tired of restaurants claiming authenticity yet use store bought tortillas made with yeast for shelf life (flour). Corn tortillas is just press and cook not difficult. Make em fresh!!! I can't give 5 or even 4 stars you can try and fool me but I know what store bought taste like and I KNOW what homemade taste like. I'll come back some other time and hope that they changed it up maybe my review will change, maybe it won't. Assistant Wait staff was wonderful and pleasant to interact with. Hard taco didn't impress, I felt like it was canned chicken and store bought hard shell made it taste cheap for the price of the meal. Chile relleno was good, decent size not drowning in juice. Very disappointing experience. (Looking at the reviews how could this be so bad so wrong) We went to dinner with friends, sat in the restaurant with one other table and were ignored for some time. We ordered our food and waited and waited. Many customers arrived, ate before we did and then started to leave. Once our food was "remembered" it was presented cold. Waitress took it back for a "heat up" which didn't do a thing. The waitress was very cold, did NOT express any empathy and didn't even say sorry. We could not believe her attitude. She never asked if everything was alright, or would you like a take home box for ALL the food you have on your plate, just took the plate. Regardless, we asked for the bills, and she gave both to my husband and I, wouldn't even look at the other couple with us, just rude rude rude.
