Richland Dugout Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Richland

UPDATE: I posted the review below a few days ago, in that time management has reduced prices and printed a new menu to reflect this. Things seem much more appropriate, still cold as a well diggers A** in here today though… Brrrrrrrrrr 3 to 3.5 star gets warm in here we are talking 4 full stars! They also fired a few of the “stand and watch” bartenders which is also nice.

I have been coming here for 10+ years, I used to own Columbia Kayak Adventures in the park at Howard Amon and loved getting my employees a Dugout pizza for lunch almost everyday. I used to love this place. Now when I go there, the temperature inside (it is winter now) is always FRIGID. Like teeth chattering cold. The menu went through a price increase about two months ago and now a “chicken wrap” is $20 among other not so appealing prices. There are positives, I enjoy the ppv fights they offer, I love the big screens for football games, but the combination of the price for food and uncomfortable temperature are making me consider other options. Chrissy and Felicia are awesome and seem to take pride in their job always checking on me and other regulars thus 3 stars… this place was 5 stars, slowly went to 4 then quickly went to 3 and I fear is bordering on 2 stars here soon. I hope the people in charge start steering the boat in the right direction and I am back here in a few months adding stars to my review instead of changing my local after work stop to a more warm, cost...

I sat at the bar and ordered a beer and looked at the menu. Whoever got my beer disappeared, I never saw her again. The new bartender apparently thought I was all taken care of. I had to let her know I'd like to order some food after about ten minutes. She took my card and opened a tab. I'm not sure why though, once I received my burger she never stopped back by. I'd have gladly ordered another beer. But she never came by and while I'm waiting for my tab to close it out, I thought I'd write this review. It's now been approximately 10 minutes, my empty beer glass and food basket sitting in front of me at the bar. She's still not bothered to check in or ask if I want another drink. The guy next to me has also been sitting here without a replacement beer for a while. Ok, done and sitting here for almost 15 minutes before she finally came by to see if I wanted anything else. It's a little after 6 on a Tuesday evening. I'm a more than a little disappointed with the level of service provided. The food was mediocre, with fast, friendly service, I'd be back for a quick meal. But, unfortunately, I doubt I'll be revisiting...

I’m ashamed to have had faith in The Dugout. I live near Rd 68 Dugout and we’ve NEVER had a bad experience at that Dugout. That Dugout is a great Dugout. This Dugout is ruining that Dugout’s good name. Not even remotely comparable. This Dugout has literally given our group of 4 people the worst overall service experience of our collective lives in the Tricities. Thursday night, 3/21/19, we came here to watch a basketball game. Arrived at 620pm. Ordered food at 640pm. Over an hour later, 2 out of 4 people got their food. A half hour later, we discover they never ordered the other 2 meals... so another 30 minutes later, we got the last 2 meals. What... in... the... ####. Insert your favorite curse.

After they brought all our food over 2 hours after ordering it, the food was decent but it was so late that the overall experience was destroyed so, as a group, we decided I couldn’t give them anything more than 1 star (I wanted to give them 2 but then everyone else almost killed me, LOL).

Never coming back. I’m done giving this cursed restaurant...
