Dear Waitress đ I hope you take this to heart. Me and my friend came in, ordered, and were in the middle of eating when we were approached by you outside and you said there was a mixup with our order. I responded I know thatâs okay itâs still good, as even though the order we got was not quite right (the inside of the crepe had some different ingredients) we are not the type of people to complain or cause issues over little mistakes people make. Then you followed by saying âwhere do you get off taking someone elseâs foodâ We were shocked đł by this as our name was called for this order and handed to us. TURNS OUT there was someone with the EXACT same name, and with almost the EXACT same order for the EXACT number of people (2 plates each). My friend apologized as this was an unfortunate accident and not done out of malice, and explained he had the same name. However you seemed dismissive, left abruptly and never apologized even slightly for assuming the worst of us and that really put a damper on the start of my day. I understand people can be entitled and bad days are a thing but next time please donât assume the worst about people! We were willing to give you grace even if our order was incorrect, I would hope youâd at least give us the same back as customers. I just hope you see this because things like this can really give people a bad experience and there is enough of those in the world, and people at least deserve to explain themselves without...
Read moreThe vegan mixed berry crepes were quite tough, looked too brown on the bottom. Were also difficult to cut with the plastic utensils. For mixed berries, I was expecting more berries like blackberries and raspberries. I only received blueberries and strawberries. Maple syrup tasted thick and cheap, no maple flavor. The sweet crepes normally come with a sweet cream cheese and whipped cream. For a crepe place, I would expect vegan alternatives to these options which are easily accessible at a grocery store. Vegans might want more than maple syrup and berries with their crepes. Disappointing for $15.
Also, although the Strawberry Fields drink I got with mineral water was excellent and had a balanced flavor without being too sweet, charging almost $8 for a 20 oz iced drink is a bit too much. I could get a 32 oz drink for that price from Starbucks.
My mom had the regular Lemon and Strawberry crepes (non-vegan). She said they were excellent. It looked like hers were cooked correctly and I think the non-vegan/gf batter is softer and easier to cut. It would be nice if the vegan batter was less dense. Her only complaint was that the sweet cream cheese was very rich so she couldn't finish all of it (it was not too sweet which she liked). She also said the Honeybun Latte was great but it is quite sweet if you order it the way it comes. She ordered it half sweet and said it was the perfect...
Read moreI've been here before with my ex-boyfriend, and it was wonderfulâgood food and coffee. But I came back a few weekends ago with my mom, and honestly, it was so horrible that I donât think Iâll be back. ): Granted, we arrived just as they were about to close, so I get that, but I didnât realize they closed so early. However, the staff member was a bit rude, saying, "Are you going to order a crepe? Because we close in 7 minutes." I wasnât planning on it, thankfully, because I could tell by the tone of her voice that she was annoyed we were there at all.
We both ordered coffees, and they were so gross that I canât even tell if it was done on purpose. Neither of the coffees tasted like coffee at allâjust water and whatever syrups they used. The water wasnât even hot; it was like lukewarm bath water right before it gets cold. I really wish the service and the coffee had been better, especially considering it was almost $12, plus a tip. I just canât justify spending that kind of money to be treated like that and then get awful drinks.
Sorry, maybe itâs better when youâre not about to close, but Iâve been busy moving from one house to another and just wanted something hot and comforting to lift my spirits....
