TALK ABOUT RUDE!!!!! I have NEVER been to a Panda Express like this one! They told me fried rice was a 6 minute wait, I said fine I'd wait. A man comes in about 4 minutes after I did, orders fried rice, they tell him that it'd be a 6 minute wait...do the math. So, the rice gets done, he jumps up there and starts telling themvand saying "that's my rice, that's my rice"! So they serve him in front of me, even though he was quite awhile behind in line. By the time they get ready to make up my order, they run out of Broccoli Beef, and then proceeds to tell me that I have to wait another 6 minutes for it to cook! I understand that they were busy, but mine should have been served FIRST, while waiting on the rice! By this time, people were about ready to leave before I was even served! At least 15 orders had went through bypassing me! So then, I'm wanting to start to lose it! So, I said to just give me some Shanghai Beef, and let me get out of there....she proceeds to tell me that she can't because it is a up charge of $1.25!!! I was floored! She then said, "besides, your Broccoli Beef will be coming up in just a few! I had already paid, or I would have just left at that point! People were all in line staring, and I HATE that, because they were not in there from the beginning to see how I was being done, and probably think I was just a trouble making complainer because the girl kept saying in front of everyone that "you are just rude"!!! Then my food is finally served up and I had told her from the very first moment that I ordered that I had over a 2 hour long trip home, that in needed teriyaki sauce in a bowl, or something that would seal please, because those little plastic cups always lose their lids on the way home, and they spill all over everything in the bag. At that time she was all,,,"sure, sure, ok, we'll take of it"! But when I was being served finally at the end, she was putting the sause in the little cups that I specifically asked for them NOT to! She then hatefully said, "listen lady, I can't understand a word that you are saying, we must be having a communication problem"! I said, "OBVIOUSLY!...and I have been speaking proper English from the beginning, when you understood me then"! She just kept saying over and over in front of everybody that "You are RUDE, Lady, just RUDE"! I wasn't even close to being rude, with the way I was done! As a matter of fact, the same man that was waiting on rice with me that I needed to be more bold and speak up for myself! I have NEVER wrote a review complaint before, and never would I think it was against Panda Express, but there you have it! DO NOT let them pressure you into paying, before you get your order! They do not belong in customer service, and I will not return to this Panda...
Read moreI do lots of reviews on Google I try to not do poor reviews unless it's something that is extreme or just unsatisfactory. In this case I wanted to give a 1 star but I gave 2 for effort. I'm here to only share my experience as it was my 1st time at this location for a late lunch around 3pm. The 1st thing I noticed was a very unclean and disgusting serving area all of the different entrées and sides were displayed food was everywhere. Dishes were missing and Dishes looked unfresh. I come from years of customer service not exactly food service but SERVICE. no one greeted me. The interaction was dry and bothersome to the staff. The mod (manager on duty) was not managing or overseeing the staff. I was there for about 15 close to 20 minutes and the lack of a sense of urgency during what appeared to be a rush was interesting and disturbing. I requested fresh orange chicken due to the low amount in the serving bowl and how old it appeared. The portion I received for 2 bowls was very little compared to those who ordered a 2 entrée and side plate. They were very welled staffed but yet disorganized and unclean in a manner I have never seen or experienced at one of the many locations I have been to in St. Louis. The manager was friendly but unaware as all she did was stand at the register rining guest out. After waiting close to 10 mins or more for fresh orange chicken I was given a portion very small and mixed with old unacceptable orange chicken that should have been thrown out as it was unfit to serve. I was appalled after spend 24 on 2 bowls and 2 bottles of water. I did purchase the sweet fire chicken for a friend who I was meeting for lunch though it was also not fresh it was edible. I picked through my chicken bcbi ordered the orange chicken and due to over half of it being old, hard and trash I decided to save the other half and take my bowl back to be replaced. I dreaded going back and to my surprise which wasn't shocking another customer was there complaing smh. The guy was reluctant to replace the food and only gave a side of orange chicken qhich was small shitballs of breading. 😒 I'm writing this review More for management and corporate to see and correct the staff and process vs. Telling people to not eat here. I only gave the visit a 2 for the simple fact it was an all African American staff. My biggest tip is to do better and take care and pride in the service and...
Read moreToday my friend and I decided to have lunch at pandas express here and we ordered 3 entrees+1 side as a combo (which is supposed to be $9.3). There was somehow a miscommunication and we got 2 entrees+1 side as a result (which is $7.8). So we argued that we would want 3 entrees+1 side and they did that for us. However, they wanted to charge us $5.45 for the additional single entree ($5.45+$7.8) instead of calculating our meals as 3 entrees + 1 side ($9.3 together, meaning they are supposed to charge us additional $1.5 by extracting $7.8 from $9.3). So we argued for like ~15 minutes and they said something like they did make a mistake previously and agreed to offer us some discount. So for that "additional entree" they charged us $2.86 in the end (since we ordered shrimp, which has an additional $1.25 apart from the combo, we are actually supposed to pay $2.75 rather than $2.86, no big differences in the amount though).
Turned out we didn't overpay much in the end, nevertheless I would still say we are truly disappointed about it here. It's confusing why they couldn't understand that our combo was supposed to be 3 entrees+1 side rather than 2 entrees + 1 side and we simply need to pay the additional amount for switching the combo choice. Also, if it's not because we argued for 15 minutes they wouldn't have offered the discount for us - come on we are educated people and we don't want to argue like we don't know about manners, but it seems like the only way to kinda of solve a problem here is just to quarrel like we don't know rules, which really hurt.
Sorry for complaining so much out here. I guess my only wish is the servants could have a better understanding about math and apply it properly in real life...
【bills attached here; one thing to clarify is that we ordered shrimp and steak, both of which would charge an additional $1.25 apart from the original combo price. Therefore our original bill before tax was $7.8+$1.25 rather...
