Would give six stars if I could. I’ve only ever had bakso from a street cart in Indonesia, paying just over $1 for it, squatting on the sidewalk on the side of the road. I’ve done this a few dozen times and know what I want so I’d set my expectations low - there’s no way some place in the US can meet those standards. My goodness, this took me right back. I’m not Indonesian but this was dang good bakso. And the addition of the yung tofu in the signature dish is an INCREDIBLE twist. Will be following their account so I can get some more again. Don’t miss out, if you’re on the fence, get their signature bakso now

January 2025: Discovered this food truck at spark in mission bay. Menu was quite extensive. I chose the beef rice bowl which had an egg roll, beef rib, rice, greens, cucumber and cherry tomatoes. Took it to go! The food was delicious 😋. Rib was nicely marinated with a sweet glaze. The dipping sauce was a pleasant chilli sauce. Talked to the workers and they said they've been at spark for about 10x already. They are here every other Friday (from what I recall). Will definitely be back again. Great addition to Spark!

My brother and I have a saying: "shut up, try this." It's usually used when the food is so good at the table that conversation has to pause. These ribs changed my life. Getting the right balance of sweet and spicy sauces in the bone broth noodles was the highlight of my evening.

I finally got my first bakso (meatball) order today. Keep in mind even though they have a physical presence, you can't buy directly at the location. You need to tune in to their social media or their website to place the order. They deliver up to 30 miles from their location. I live just a bit more than the range, so my address is not eligible for delivery. The owner was kind enough to meet somewhere in the middle, closer to where I live, when they're making another delivery to another customer. The communication was smooth and pleasant, and everything went smoothly.

As the food itself, it definitely reminds me the taste of home. Given that there are not many Indonesian restaurants in the area, this definitely fulfill my craving of bakso. Everything was delicious and I can't wait to place another order from them...

First time trying Indonesian food. Maybe this is how it's supposed to be and I'm just not used to it. I ate at the food truck on the Presidio lawn. The "ribs" was one bone with some fat and grissel on it, at most a 1"x1" piece of actual meat (when I order ribs I expect the meat to run from one end of the bone to the other, not just an inch of meat on one end). The "meatballs" tasted like soy, gross. The noodles tasted like 20-cent bags of Top Ramen. The broth was good though. For $21.00 after tax, I was NOT impressed. I will try again elsewhere, but if this is how it's supposed to taste I won't be eating much...
