THEY HAVE ROACHES !!!!!! Everything about this place was wrong let me start by saying I’m a black woman and love to support black businesses but this one was so bad I had to say something …I bragged to my friends about this spot telling them how much we would enjoy and was so embarrassed by the whole situation First of all we get there for happy hour I will say this the drinks were very good they were on point I will definitely give them that ….. So we placed our order right away. (We was hungry) We ordered lamb chops, crab-cakes, macaroni, and cheese , Chicken wing fries and the lobster tail. We ended up sending the macaroni and cheese back off the rip after tasting it because something was off about it. (Just nasty ) The crabcakes were really good. The lamb chops were OK, but under seasoned , and the lobster tail was definitely overcooked and rubbery, chicken wings we asked for them to be well done, and they definitely were not good and not well done (I’m a big chicken wing person) I will say the presentation was on point but though all of this we didn’t complain. We ate because we were hungry, and the food was definitely edible it was pretty dead in there to be happy hour, so that was a real disappointment at the end. We got our check and as soon as I sign my name, a roach came crawling across the bar I signal to the bartender. He comes over with a napkin and killed the roach like it’s a normal Tuesday (I’m not even sure he washed his hands) and then didn’t even offer to appease us, or take anything off of my checks and they all set there like it was normal to have a roach in there business It was disgusting and it really rubbed me the wrong way, and I will never eat there again and I really hope that this helps someone else decide, whether or not they should eat there as well. I went to the Mini Bar last night and waited an hour and a half to be seated for a party of 5 (only waited that long because I boasted about how good the food was to my out of town guests). A table cleared and it took them 30 mins just to clean it before we were seated. We sat down and immediately ordered our food. It took another hour before we received our food. The food was great but the service was horrible. The girl with braids and glasses who brought out the food couldn't tell between which wings belonged to whom and when asked she said "its whatever you ordered" and walked away with an attitude. Our actual waiter never came back to the table to see if we needed anything at all, no refill on drinks (I ordered the Jerk pasta which is super spicy and most definitely needed a refill) or to order anything extra. The food being so good almost made up for the wait time but after the the horrible service I was so done and ready to go. I went to speak with the owner who had on shades and a camo fitted hat and he acted as if he could care less that the service and wait time was so bad, no apology or anything just kinda looked at me like I was stupid and he wanted to be left alone, after that I asked if we could just have the checks so we could go (which took so long we almost walked out, I shouldn't have to beg to pay so I can leave.) Overall I will never dine in ever again, the food was so good that I will only call and order food to go. It's cool to have a lounge spot but some how they need to limit the time people chill at the table after eating so people who want to spend money on good food dont walk out. I really want to recommend this place but man they made that difficult, so go to Mini Bar at your own risk, you might wait a long time to be seated and eat, you might get bad service but I do believe the food will be great every time. I give the food an A+ but the service and wait time...

Let's just say I have never been treated so rudely. The lady who seems to be a owner or someone of importance, short lady with brown hair, was extremely rude after we waited and came in. Mind you they opened 20 minutes late. The ticket situation is not explained clearly. If you buy tickets online and one of your parties doesn't show and another person wants to come in your party they make the person buy another ticket at the door and the ticket say 35. Once you buy the ticket they add on 11 dollars tax and the ticket goes fro. 35 to 46. A nice group of ladies said one of their people didnt show and I could use her ticket that was already paid for. The rude lady didnt like that. She said in order for me to sit with my friends I came with I had to buy another ticket t the door. The nice group asked why because that would be paying twice. The rude lady then told us that the ticket covers where the seat is and it was a bench and chairs. The nice group said it was crazy and unprofessional even after they opened late. I told her I would buy a ticket anyway to help celebrate my friends birthday and she agreed and then shortly after I pulled out my card to pay, which she sent me back outside to do, she said no. Another party outside asked to buy a ticket and she said yes and that I could dine another day and they would be happy to help me. The other party was now alarmed and said it was rude. The rude lady and another waitress were talking about only positive vibes and laughing. I did not give the rude lady the satisfaction of arguing with her and politely said no problem. I support black businesses all the time and take other colleagues to help support but this will be one that I will not support and that needs some training on customer service.
