*Update it's been weeks and this store manager/ franchise operator still hasn't contacted me about a refund and McDonald's corporate is unable to assist due to those being a franchise.
I hope whoever is responsible of this location personally has a quality of life as poor their customer service they choose not to correct.
The staff is clownshoes. I ordered on the mobile app for drive through pick up and was unable to get my order. When I got to the speaker I provided the 2 letter and 2 digit confirmation number and was then told I hadn't ordered. I repeated the code and verified the address (just incase the app switched locations) and was told the address was correct but still no order. I then verified the code with the drive through again using the phonetic nato alphabet... one of the letters in the order was "Z". The drive thru attendant then repeated the code replacing the Z with B. Again I said Z and provided the following examples "Zulu, Zebra, and Zoo/Zootopia". The attendant some how heard the letter V those time as in "Vulu, Vebra, Voo/Vootopia". This went on for several minutes until the attend decided to lecture me on not knowing my letters. At this point the people behind me were getting noticeably irritated. At this point the lady said I must have ordered wrong and it was sent to thr counter not the drive thru and asked for the 4 didn't counter code. I advised the app only showed the 2 letter and 2 digit code for thr drive thru. I also asked if they could confirm with my name because they always put a sticker with your name on the bag and verify it at the window but was advised that couldn't be done. At this time people started honking in the drive thru and some random guy was at my window asking for cigarettes. Needless to say I did not get my order. PLEASE TEACH YOUR EMPLOYEES...

I have been going to (and still do reluctantly out of loyalty) this McDonald's for the past 5 years that I have been a Richmond resident. I never experienced any complications here until about a year in a half ago. It started with slower service (very long drive through wait times) and then just started getting bizarre. First weird encounter here--I was trying to order at the drive through and was told they were "out of regular meat." Later found out the employee meant they had absolutely no beef, just chicken and fish. I'm not sure what happened to management, but the past 7 times I have been here, there has been something incorrect with my order. (However, I will say that they always do their best to fix their mistakes). One time when I came back inside after receiving an incorrect order from the drive through, the woman behind me also came in after finding a half bitten chicken nugget in her daughter's kids meal. Though I've never been ignored by the manager here, he did completely ignore this woman. Twice I have been in the drive through 12am+ when people have nodded off at the drive through speaker--management knew, expressed little to no concern. Lastly, I think the worst experience I had here was during a late night trip around 3am when the manager told me he couldn't take any orders because the register wasn't working...call me crazy, but I am almost positive he just did not want to take the order because they were closing soon. Last thing--about two weeks ago I stopped by at 8am to grab a coffee before a long drive to the 757 and they weren't even open. An employee was waiting outside and explained the opening manager (keyholder) never showed up to open the store, so neither did anyone else. I love this place, but they seriously have...
Read moreThe WORST McDonald’s in Richmond, literally. I’ve never experienced anything like it! Lady taking the order talks over you while ordering then asks you to repeat your order. I repeated my order 3 times. For that reason I waited to see my final order on the screen before pulling up to the window…… paid for my food, got to the second window for the next person to tell me they were out of cookies even tho I just paid for them. I tell her to just refund me for the cookies then the “manager” comes to the window with an attitude and some how they magically have cookies now. Ok so I’m not finished.. I’m still sitting at the window because all of my order was not given to me. The “manager” opens the window given me a look like “why you still here?” I tell her I’m still waiting on my SIX PIECE NUGGET, FRY, & SPRITE that I ordered. She turns around and asks did I have another meal & a different employee says the FIRST lady that took my order removed it!!!!!! LOL. For the life of me I don’t understand why, she made me repeat the order multiple times and it was on the screen. Meaning she removed it when I got to the window. I tell the manager to just start another order and I’ll pay for it at this window and she tells me I can’t do that and expected me to leave with out my food!!! so I tell her well I need my food, I ORDERED IT!! And she gets an even more attitude with me and hands me a small fry with a 6 piece nugget and a small sprite when I ordered a medium. At this point I didn’t even care anymore I just wanted to get TF away from there before sh!t REALLY got ugly! These ppl are rude and incompetent as H3LL and I will never go back...
