Starbucks — Restaurant in Richmond

This was the first time I ordered coffee from Starbucks. I had ordered lemonade from them a few years ago. I decided to try the coffee, but after doing some reading, I found a way to lower the calories in the drinks. My order tasted the great. My only complaint was the long line in the drive thru. UPDATE:. June 11, 2022-I tried the Iced Starbucks Blonde Vanilla Latte, and it tastes great! I ordered again the Crispy Grilled Cheese Sandwich on Sourdough, and it is delicious, as always. I redeemed my Stars for a Glazed Doughnut, and it is also good. They still have long lines at the drive thru. I go inside to pick up my order, which is quicker. UPDATE:. December 27, 2022-I stopped to order a before work treat. I ordered a Blonde Vanilla Latte and a Turkey Bacon, Cheddar, and Egg White Sandwich. It was delicious. Worth it before going to work. UPDATE:. February 17, 2023-I did it again before work! I ordered an Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and Marshmallow Dream Treat. Delicious! UPDATE:. March 7, 2023-I got another before work treat! I ordered an Iced Blonde Vanilla Latte and a Red Velvet Loaf. The Red Velvet Loaf was delicious! A sweet treat in the morning. UPDATE:.March 24, 2023-I ordered another Iced Blonde Vanilla Latte and tried Bacon and Gruyere Egg Bites. They were okay, but they could be warmer. The Latte was delicious like always. UPDATE:May 19, 2023-I tried to place a mobile order on the app, and it said order ahead not available at this location. I decided to go there, place my order, and wait. When I got there, it appeared nobody was there. I went to door, and it was locked! I then went to Taco Bell to pick up breakfast. I was later told that when they don't have anybody to work, they close the place! You don't want to go out of business? UPDATE: June 15, 2023-I did mobile ordering again, and tried one of their summer drinks: the Cinnamon Caramel Cream Cold Brew. It was so delicious! I wanted to order it again! Last week, on the way to work, I picked up the other summer drink: the White Chocolate Macadamia Cream Cold Brew. It was delicious also, but I didn't have time to take a picture. I wanted to order it again, but they were out of it. Get it back in stock again! Also, I talked about my experience a few weeks ago and found they were closed because they didn't have anybody to work. Today, they had a sign up with temporary hours. If you do the app, like I do and get points, and it says mobile ordering not available at this location, that means they are closed. UPDATE: June 22, 2023-Last week, I posted about Starbucks having temporary hours, because they don't have enough help. This morning, I went for a morning treat before I went to work, and I found they changed the hours again. It is still not back to regular hours, but Starbucks fans need to be forewarned. I ordered the Cinnamon Caramel Cream Cold Brew, and it was as good as last week. UPDATE: July 2, 2023- I went to get a treat before I went to work, and I found they changed their hours again! I hope they get some help, so they don't have to close up for good. By the way, I ordered the Iced Blonde Vanilla Latte, and it was just as delicious as before. Maybe management should be reading these posts. UPDATE: July 27, 2023-I ordered an Iced Vanilla Shaken Espresso and a Cheese Danish. Both were absolutely delicious! What was sad is the new hours of business. They open at 6 AM and close at 1:30 PM. Absolutely sad. If they continue this, they will be out of business. They need more help, so they can stay open later! UPDATE: August 10, 2023-I went to Starbucks yesterday to get my breakfast treat, and they changed the hours again, this time for the better! They are more normal, but don't hold your breath , because they might change them again! What did I get? An Iced Brown Sugar Oat milk Shaken Espresso. Delicious! I am so sick of this location. Their hours differ from day to day, whenever, however they seem fit. I drive all the way from eaton to this location. I've called customer service to complain & they told me to check online for hours before I leave the house, so I started doing that. Problem is according to Google it'll say it's open, so I make the drive just to be closed.. so I have the thought to call before I leave. The problem you ask? They never answer the phone. Can't depend on mobile ordering because they shut it off whenever they please. I shouldnt have to go through all these steps whenever i want starbucks.. so let's talk about the consistency of the drink. I simply order a dragon drink. How many different ways can they mess up a dragon drink? Sometimes there's more refresher than coconut milk which makes it sour, sometimes there's more coconut milk than refresher which dilutes the flavor, sometimes it's watery so they're adding too much water when they prepare the refresher.. and my absolute favorite.. they'll replace their coconut milk with SILK & not tell us.. like there's not a clear difference.. so there's about a 50% chance driving all the way from eaton & getting a decent drink. It's absolutely ridiculous.. starbucks is too expensive to be this inconsistent.. I think I'll start making the drive to the starbucks in Oxford that's inside of the kroger. More than once in the past couple weeks, I have come to this Starbucks to get a sandwich and a drink. After waiting in the always long drive thru line, I ordered and have been told they’re out of the syrup for the drink I wanted. Changed the order and was told they’re out of the syrup for THAT drink. I cancel the drink and just order a bacon, egg, and Gouda sandwich. Each time I’ve been told they’re out of all of the sandwiches. I am then forced to wait in line just to get out, as the drive thru has cement bumpers on each side. Whoever is doing the ordering for this store is falling very short and needs to be assisted. UPDATE: The past three days I’ve gone to this location and they have been closed, despite the posted hours stating they should be open. I drove 15 minutes from the other side of town only to be left high and dry. This is so irritating because how are customers supposed to know they’re not operating during their posted hours???
