Holiday Motel — Hotel in Richmond

Absolutely Fantastic Stay - Amazing Value & Newly Renovated!

I can't say enough good things about the Holiday Motel. It's clear the owners have invested significantly in upgrades, and it shows. This isn't your average, tired roadside motel—it feels fresh, clean, and secure.

Our room was immaculate and looked brand new thanks to recent renovations. A huge plus for safety and convenience was the new electronic door lock; it made coming and going feel much more secure than the old-fashioned key locks you often find.

The improvements aren't just inside the rooms. The parking lot has been freshly paved and is well-lit, which is a nice touch.

The owners are wonderful people—incredibly polite and genuinely eager to help. Any small request we had was handled quickly and with a smile. They clearly take pride in their property and their guests' experience.

The location is unbeatable for convenience. You are literally within 5 minutes of a Walmart for any supplies, a beautiful Glenn Miller Park for a stroll, and a great selection of fast-food options. If you want to catch a movie or head to TSC, you're only about 10 minutes away.

With all these upgrades and the fantastic service, you'd expect to pay much more. The prices here truly can't be beat for the value you receive. We will 100% be staying here again anytime we're in the area....

The rooms are cheap when it comes to price. It was clean for the most part but could use a good deep cleaning now and then. The furniture is older and worn but comfortable. The shower is nice and hot and tons of cable channels. We were there when it was very cold out and the heat wouldn't work. I was sick already and freezing. My spouse went to ask to switch rooms and the owner came right away and showed us the trick to the heater and also brought a space heater, plugged it in and put it right in front of me. It was late at night and she was already in bed so she did all of this in her bathrobe which I really appreciated. There is no breakfast but plenty of places to go down the street. The neighbor lived there and had a fight with her boyfriend but that was really the only negative. If you're looking for something cheap with a bed...

If you like bed bugs,look no further! I stopped in here on my first night back in town,it was really late and we drove 18 hours,so we crashed shortly after arriving. I woke up in the morning covered in bites.I flipped the sheets to find the bed CRAWLING with bed bugs.I had paid for a week, so I went to the office and asked for a refund.Not only did he not give me a refund like he said he would,but he charged the card an additional $180!
