If you're a fan of pizza (and who isn't?), you've got to check out Superstars Pizza. This take-and-bake gem is a game changer for anyone craving a hot, fresh pizza from the comfort of their own kitchen—no delivery drivers needed!
One pizza you absolutely must try is the Merry Mex. It's a flavor explosion that combines the perfect balance of spicy, savory, and cheesy goodness. Think zesty salsa and a little heat, all piled on top of a perfectly baked crust. It’s the kind of pizza that makes your taste buds do a happy dance. Seriously, this one is a crowd-pleaser—whether you're feeding your family, friends, or just treating yourself after a long day.
The beauty of Superstars is that they do all the hard work for you—handcrafted pizzas loaded with fresh toppings, just waiting for you to pop them in the oven. You get the smell of a pizzeria in your kitchen, without ever having to leave home. And trust me, the taste is just as good as anything you'd find in a restaurant.
Bonus: Since you bake it at home, you get to control how crispy you want your crust, and there's something so satisfying about the "fresh out of the oven" pizza experience.
Whether you're hosting a pizza night, or just want to indulge in a delicious meal, Superstars Pizza and the Merry Mex are the way to go. It’s fun, flavorful, and honestly—totally...
Read moreThis is my new go-to for Pizza Fridays. I've been searching for the perfect slice in every joint from Shockoe Bottom to Short Pump and I am just as surprised as you will be to have found it at a take-and-bake joint. While the overall bite and chew of the finished product is a little different from my other favorites (Mary Angela's, Belmont, Capricchio's, in that order) owing (in part at least) to the fact that it's cooked in your home oven and not an industrial pizza oven, this pizza is ON POINT. From the crust, to the sauce, to the cheese, to the fresh toppings, they've nailed it. The ratios are great. There isn't too much or too little of anything. (Side note: If you like cheese and a boat load of it...without even asking for extra...try Angela's Ristorante on Ridge Rd) I doubt there's much more I can say to convince you that a take-and-bake place is pumping out some of the best pizza in Richmond, so you'll just have to try it for yourself. I can promise that you won't regret it, even if you don't love it as...
Read moreIm only giving a 4 because when I ordered, i stated my order exactly like a lunch special they had (which i did not know about at the time, my first time here) without 1 item (so 3 out of 4, in the same order the special is written on a smaller board up on the side) and the cashier did not point out the special/recommend it to me. So I ended up paying more and didnt get a choice of dessert.
But, nonetheless, everyone there was very nice and the food I ordered was very good. I got a warm sub with a delicious pesto, turkey, and cheese with lettuce. Seriously the pesto was good. They have a few chip options, miss vickies jalapeno, lays, Doritos. Soda options (they have pepsi i think and pibb xtra with a few other options, including a diet).
My friend had a slice of supreme pizza and said it was really good. Nice and crispy crust. Medium thickness. Lots of toppings.
Definitely plan to try this...
