A weary traveler steps inside and is greeted gracefully by a bright caring hostess. 'Good evening mam', I won't be long. My mules are exhausted from travel and need a rest. However myself is parched and could use a eatin.'"
Nobody knows the troubles that he's been or the sorrows that he traveled to finally set foot in the place they call "The Grill." For he heard the rumors from the locals.
The ragged traveler is politely guided by a hostess to a table where he sits by himself. His sore feet from his journey are eased by the tall stool that he's able to rest upon. Shortly upon seating, he's greeted by a different waitress, "Welcome to The Grill! Is this your first time being here?"
"Ah yes, I've traveled times and lands but upon my travels the locals have mentioned the establishment of 'The Grill.' I was able to glance at the menu. I'll take a shot of your finest whiskey, a side of brussel sprouts and traditional wings of the garlic and buffalo sauces blended. Is that possible?"
"Of course it is. We'll have that out shortly," replied the waitress.
While the dusty traveler waited for his order, he looked around the establishment. It was here he noticed the enjoyment of the patrons. They were hooting and hollering due to the excitement over what they exclaimed were scoring plays.
Right after the traveler was observing the exciting environment of the establishment his food was brought out along with his cherished whiskey drink. After the food was placed the traveler thanked the workers and proceeded to wafer the smells of the meal to his nostrils. It's been awhile since he's had a meal of this quality. The brussel sprouts are crisped to the perfect amount. The wings are large, yet saucy. And the whiskey a sharp yet smokey taste.
The traveler eventually finishes his meal along with his spirits. Despite the temptation from being checked upon by the staff if he would like more, he politely declines. He waves his hand for the check. It doesn't take long for the final payment to given to the traveler. The traveler is surprised due to the low cost of his meal. A short transaction happens and the traveler wishes the waitress a final goodbye.
Weeks later as the traveler journeys throughout the lands, he thinks back on the delicious meal and whiskey he once had at...

Been over a year and the Grill has improved in every facet. The food is consistently great and it's one of our go to spots now!!!

One word that comes to mind after eating dinner here tonight, "inconsistent". The quesadilla came with onions and peppers in it after we ordered only black bean and cheese. Granted that is how the black beans are made and the waitress should have known. My son got the cheese triangles and the oil was old that they were dried in and had a strong fish flavor to them.
Again we have had great food here and had some of the worst as well. I Keep coming back and sometimes wonder why since it can be so hit or miss.

Part of being a great restaurant is being consistent. Today dropped in for lunch and had the Crab and Corn Chowder which should have been called Lima Bean Chowder. YUCK!!!!! The bartender poured a beer and floated the keg and then 15 minutes got a new keg hooked up and finished filling the glass. Overall this was an average to below average visit. Hope it's not a norm going forward.

Never be afraid to give some place a second chance. We walked into the bar/restaurant hesitantly but to our pleasant surprise they hired a two new chefs and updated the menu. Everything is made fresh and from scratch. Two years ago I came here and said it would be my last, glad I gave it another chance. You will not regret eating here. Good beer selection, great food, and plenty of screens.
My review from 2 years ago:
2/5 stars
Mixed results...food can be a hit like their burgers or wings or a total miss like their fried brie. It has plenty of screens and cold beer for game day. Came back tonight and the quesadilla has no flavor and the...
Read moreWent in to meet my girlfriend and some co workers last night. I came in through the back and went to the bar to grab a drink before joining everyone. There was a group of guys at the right end so I went to the left where it was less crowded. The bartender was a brunette lady and was at the other end of the bar, talking with a waitress. There was a good crowd but not overly busy. I waited for the bartender to look my way. She kept talking with the waitress. I guess I was obviously annoyed because one of the guys beside be laughed and said, yea she kind of sucks. Another guy and a girl walked up to the bar by me and also waited. All told we waited for more than 5 minutes for the bartender to greet us. I've been on the other side of the bar, and I don't see how you wouldn't pay attention better then this. There's also a entrance behind where I was standing so wouldn't you at least look for people coming in? At the bar the customers come to you so why wouldn't you be looking for them? I gave up and joined my girlfriend at the table, where I got a drink from our server. She was great. I'd give the place 4 stars because it does have a cool cheers bar feel except for bar service. I may come back but I'll...
