I read the comment someone wrote about tipping. You are so right about them when it comes to tipping. I was at the counter paying for my food and the young guy who is very rude at times, had the nerve to ask me did I leave a tip for my waitress. Very unprofessional. On another note, they are extremely prejudice, but trey to keep it on the down low. I have noticed, on several occasions , how they jiump to serve the white clientele, even if you arrived before they did. The on another occasion, which made me not ever want to return, they served bad leftover food. I advised the waitress of this and she told me that maybe I take home and eat it later. The food even smelled bad. I had ordered a triple delight. I was the first black client during lunch until several other black customers began to come in. I was sitting at the first set of booths as you walk in and the other tow(2) black females were sitting in the set across from me. One of the ladies purposely got my attention and asked me how my food was. I told her horrible and that I couldn’t eat it. They both said the same. I advised them that we should complain corporately and maybe they would refund our money. There were 3 other black customers in the restaurant who had not yet gotten their orders. While we were complying the young guy, who normally works the register was standing at the dining room door where the ladies whom I was talking to could not see him but I could. So I made sure that he could hear us complain. I could see him telling the waitress what he had heard. When the ladies went to pay, the waitress told her that she was complaining about her shrimp and made, apparently some other rude remark. The black female told her that she was lucky that she paid her at all. My son had advised me to stop going there because he never felt comfortable there. I will be taking his advise and stimming from my past experiences, this is not the...
Read moreOk. Let me start off saying that I ordered from this restaurant about 5 times. Using both uber and just delivery from them. Each time I ve ordered I ve spent 30 plus dollars. Live less than. 2 miles from the store. My car is broken and I dont have a new one. Okay. So each time I order I round my tips because I use my debit card. Once I used cash. But only once. The last time I ordered the driver literally yelled at me on my door step very loudly. His voice echoed off of the houses it was very embarrassing he would not lower his voice or calm down. His yelling was intelligible because of his accent. He was upset that I hadn't left a tip. He began saying that I never left a tip( which I had multiple times) Each time he has delivered he never responded to a hello, smiled or even acknowledged me. However, this time he began yelling , i mean yelling at me. I have never in my entire life been yelled at on my doorstep by a delivery man. I tried to calm him i told to to speak to me and not yell, he would not comply at all he continued to yell at me. So I gave him the tip he then smiled and walked away, did nt say thank you or goodbye. I called to speak to someone in charge, they said no one was present, so I complained to the order taker, to what avail? Nothing. I would never recommend this place, they have no respect or civility. A classic case of how not caring about the customer. I ve spent well over a 100 dollars with thia place and I get yelled at for not tiping once. And they forgot the...
Read moreI went here on lunch with my boss and some co-workers yesterday. The food was great. No complaints there. The server was great till the end. She was nice and even boxed my leftovers for me. At the end of my meal she brings me my check amd it's only $10.78. No big deal. I have her run it on my card. Here's the thing about me: I always tip in cash and never on my card. So she brings me the receipt to sign and she's standing over my shoulder. I sign my name at the bottom and hand her back the receipt and pen. I go to start reaching into my pocket for the $10 bill I wanted to give her because her service was great. Before I could even get my hand back out with the $10 bill she made the comment "This woman no tip." I froze and looked at her and as she's rounding the table she said again "This woman no tip." I grabbed my stuff and made the comment "Well you just missed out on a $10 tip." And I left. Her actions were completely unnecessary. If she could've keep her mouth shut for a few more seconds she would've been $10 richer. Never in my life has someone who was serving me made that comment. I always try to tip good because I've been a server and I understand...
